Weevils get in grains like pasta, grits, flower, cereal, etc if you don't put it in the fridge there small here and you don't see them sometimes and I made a bole of grits and ate some did have the right taste looking at my food and realized what I thought was pepper was weevils im from South Georgia usa and this happens to everyone at least once in there lives

Yes we put stuff like black pepper, salt, butter for basic grits It is how Great grandma taught me to make em if you want fancy grits we something add breakfast sausage, eggs and cheese
