ALL RIGHT OK I'm with two main ideas I REALLY wanna try to write about but I don't have a single clue how. one is that reader is working the labs in the pitt (as a labs/biomedical student my self I NEEDDDDD IT) and some how some way they interact with doc mel king BC OF COURRRSE THEY DO.
OR reader is brought to the emergency for some fucked up shit that happend around their neck (bc i got insane thinking bout melissa holding my neck to stop the blood i NEED THIS)
i KNOW mel gets all red when she is fucking fem!reader 😋😋 her face, her chest, everything is red…
Service Top Mel who gets all shy when you ride her, blushing deeply throughout her body. She’d nervously hover her hands over your skin, waiting for you to force them onto you before she can relax. She’d watch your cunt gliding on her strap like it was magic, and she’d mumble about how perfect you are. She would practically shed tears as you came on her cock, babbling about how much she loved you while you tried to kiss her. Her glasses would almost always be in the way, and they’d be crooked by the end as she stared up at you with her lips parted in a breathless smile.
When she eats you out, she is laser focused. If you started wincing after multiple orgasms, she’d instantly pull away in fear of hurting you. She would mumble about how dangerous it can be to push your body to such limits, and how she wanted to respect you, but you’d shut her up by forcing her face back to where it belonged: stuffed in your cunt. When she’d come back up again, her face would have smears of your juices all over it, and she’d again just give you that innocent smile, as if she hadn’t just made you see stars.
At work, when you pulled her aside and slammed her against the wall (gently), she’d stutter nervously about how Inappropriate it was to do stuff like this at the workplace, and you’d softly shush her while guiding her to kneel down as you removed your scrub pants. She’d glance around nervously before hesitantly leaning in, sighing in relief as her nose hit your panties. She’d grab your hips with permission, guiding her tongue along your folds excitedly. When she’d hear muffled voices from outside the locked door, she’d pull away to anxiously await for someone to come in and fire you both, and maybe put you in jail, and maybe take away your licenses- but instead, you’d groan and pull softly on her braids to ride her face, moaning quietly while her eyes slowly shut in contentment.
yes you already kinda made a post about this but sub!mel with her fogged up glasses OUGH… strapping her down and her glasses are so steamed up that she has to take them off to see you properly,,,, her grabbing you by the chain of your necklace so youre close enough for her to see your eyes.. god i need to be blind for blind with her where both of us have fogged ass glasses so its 10 times messier but 10 times hotter.. the pitt ladies are ruining my life
both you and mel have to constantly push your glasses up 😭 you feel like a fucking nerd while pushing them up with your index finger, even while pounding her into the mattress...but she thinks it's so attractive when they start falling, thinks you look so hot gasping and moaning and thrusting into her while your glasses are sliding off your nose. she'll reach up and push them up for you sometimes because she's the best gf ever.
mel taking off her glasses to give you a strapjob...she'll end up with dirty glasses after because of her tears and she hates cleaning them after. so she'll just slip 'em off, set 'em to the side, and drag her tongue up your strap before swallowing all that she can :)) you love cradling her face after she's done, wiping off some of her tears on her cheeks, pulling her in for a wet kiss, and then handing her glasses back.
it's also so cute but slightly hot when she squints up at you while she's between your thighs because she's trying to make you out....she just wants to see your face!!
messy, steamy kisses with her that end up with you both pulling back with fogged up glasses 😭 you can't even see each other, and you both can't help but chuckle into each other's lips.
fogging up your glasses from how heavy and hot your open-mouthed kisses on her body are.....mel's glasses will fog up a bit just from those kisses tbh. she's so responsive to your touch, will pant heavily and arch her back while you kiss and nibble on her stomach.
they get comedically steamed up when you fuck her from behind....mel can't even think about how awkward it feels while her glasses are all skewed while you shove her face into the pillow. not that her eyes are wide open as your strap fills her up, but she can't see SHIT. she can't see anything when you flip her onto her back and lift her legs up, pushing your thick strap inside her again.
mel getting all grabby with you when her glasses are off because she wants to see you ;-; it's so hot when she huffs and takes them off, when she wraps her fist around your necklace and tugs you in just close enough to where she can make you out. she's panting so heavily that it makes your glasses steam up, so you end up taking them off. you just press your forehead against hers while looking into her eyes, occasionally gazing down at her lips and getting off to the sounds she produces.
mel, pouting and groaning in annoyance when her glasses get too steamy, flinging them off and squinting down at you while she rides you. she'll lean down and get superrr close to you, lips brushing against yours as she bounces up and down. mel will make a comment about your pretty eyes while she circles her hips, or she'll gently place her hand around your throat and whine out, "look at me."
(you're still blind as hell and she looks so blurry but whatever)
bumping frames when you two kiss sometimes because you're both so eager ❤️
I feel like such a chud for liking mel bc she is clearly a butch lesbian and no man deserves all that........but have we considered...... the they them afab twinks...?.... yeah i'd be her BITCH in a second
my GOD, you guys have no idea how much I want to hear the sound of my glasses clinking against dr Melissa King's while we make out, wet and slobbery style. The 'tic tic tic' of the lenses clinking while we move our faces slightly to open and close our mouths, mixed with the wet sounds of our tongues and soft moans wanting more WHO TF SAID THAT???!?!?!?!?!
Perv!Mel who can barely behave herself after seeing you bend over and spotting your panties peek over your scrubs :,(
Perv!Mel who tries to find subtle ways to have her hands on you. Lifting your name card and stethoscope to prevent them from bouncing in your face when you’re performing chest compressions, helping you wipe off the suspicious bodily fluid she accidentally spilled on you after turning a sharp corner.
Perv!Mel who has a picture of you cropped from a workplace dinner pic who she keeps stored in a locked folder on her phone… definitely rubbed one to it in the moment of desperation after you didn’t show up to work one day :(
Perv!Mel who’s slightly inexperienced but started to experiment more with herself after gaining a crush on you. She’ll try different positions in bed when she touches herself, imagining you putting her into these provocative situations while she humps her pillow. She gets embarrassed after her third orgasm and has to shove the stained pillow case in the wash right after.
Perv!Mel who you caught touching herself in the bathroom and started crying for the next two minutes. Went home to get off on it after realizing you had seen her pleasuring herself.
Perv!Mel who got so emotional and mortified when you confronted her about it the next day, and you wanted to make it up to her by fingering her so good in your car’s backseat she looked like she ascended.
✉️ I will come back & re-write the beginning tomorrow, swear on my life, but omg someone pulled the fire alarm at 1 AM last night so I'm exhausted... love you guys <3 hope this is good
sommaire! still with no reasoning for mel's actions, you're frustrated enough to be sent home early, giving the two of you a chance to finally talk (or fuck) things through part 3
demure! angst... reader has issues with the idea of someone loving her & confidence... but happy ending! crying, mentions of reader causing complications with a patient, reader is mean to mel in the beginning; oral (r!receiving), fingering (r!receiving), squirting, spit, overstimulation, mentions of passing out, breast play, biting, mel's gross, kissing, exhibitionism (public sex kind of), I rushed this intro sorryyyyy & no proof reading either... wc 6.6k 18+ MEN & MDNI
Melissa King hasn’t spoken to you in roughly three days.
Or, more accurately, Melissa King and you haven’t exchanged words beyond medical terms and information on patients for the past three days.
Ignoring her had never been easy. Not from the moment you’d met. Not from when you’d first become friends. Not even when you’d found out about her and the PEDs position. But apparently, her ability to forget you existed after moments with detrimental meaning to you was effortless. Second nature. I owe you one. Bullshit. I don’t want the PEDs position. Bullshit. You want me? Bull. Shit. Each and every one of those promises, silent or not-so-silent, of presenting you with an explanation, forgotten. Never to be brought up again. And maybe you were impatient, only giving a few days between each of those flimsy vows, but her words meant something to you.
They meant more than you cared to admit.
More than they apparently meant to Mel.
You wanted to believe that you weren’t the kind of person to let your personal issues get between you and your work, except, when pushed far enough, pushed for so long as you’d been with Mel, it was the furthest thing from the truth. Because every time you had to work with Mel post that third day in which she still refused to come to you with clarification for everything she’d done, everything she’d said, you decided the best way to get those reactions from her was the only way you knew: to fight with her.
Because apparently, the only way you could get Mel’s attention was by provoking her.
Bad idea.
“I don’t know what’s going on between the two of you, but I don’t want you back in my ER until it’s sorted out.”
Robby’s words loop throughout your brain as you shrug your bag over your shoulder.
Not fired, he’d said he would be stupid to suspend or have any serious consequences for two of his best residents, but it was a warning. And there wouldn’t be a second. Not when the glares you’d given Mel, the mean comments, the ignoring, was beginning to affect her work. You didn’t feel bad about it. In fact, you figure you should’ve done it earlier.
You don’t look at the woman a few feet away as you slam your locker door shut.
Don’t look at her as you exit the locker room and maneuver your way through the ER to the elevator that leads to the parking garage.
No, you didn’t feel bad. She deserved it. She had it coming. Did she really expect you to allow her to pretend you didn’t exist after having you grind against her in public? After betraying your trust time and time again? No, you were going to go home, have dinner, and go to bed early. If Robby expected you to be the one to apologize, then he was never going to see you back to that ER.
You didn’t have anything to apologize for.
Is what you’d convinced yourself, but karma apparently disagreed.
Because as soon as you get in your car, the engine sputters when you attempt to start it. Naturally. The sound has your heart plummeting to your stomach because what a wonderful way to end your already shitty day. Shitty weekend. Shitty month. You didn’t know two things about cars; how were you supposed to know what was wrong?
You grumble to yourself as you unbuckle your seatbelt with a little more force than necessary, shoving the door open and climbing out of the car–
A tiny yelp escapes your lips when you see Mel standing there.
“Everything okay?” she asks after a beat. You just clench your jaw a little, only offering a small eye roll as you turn to round to the front of your car. At least you don’t embarrass yourself by getting the hood open on the first try. Except, you realize, you don’t know what it would look like if anything was wrong.
Your tongue runs over your teeth as you let out a sigh through your nose. “My car won’t start.”
Mel’s footsteps are quiet as she approaches the car, but you still don’t look up at her.
“Are the keys still in the ignition?”
“Yeah,” you say hastily, really hoping that you weren’t going to have to take the bus. Or walk. Or have to ask Mel for a ride–
That sick, sputtering sound resounds again.
“Your battery’s dead,” Mel calls from the driver’s seat.
You have to bite back a groan because, of course. “Since when do you know so much about cars?” you respond, denial thick in your tone because you still wanted to refuse the fact that this was happening to you. Not after being sent home. Not after putting a patient at risk because of your pettiness. Not after concluding that Mel would pursue and pursue, but never truly tell you what you wanted to hear.
“I only know some basic maintenance, nothing crazy, but you know how Becca and I had to move all the way from Missouri?”
You don’t respond.
You were beginning to believe that frustration was your default setting, which was… really sad. “Dumb– Fucking car…”
“Yeah– Yeah,” Mel agrees quickly, dropping the topic of vehicle preservation as she climbs out from the driver’s seat. The door closing behind her sounds dull to your ears. “Dumb car.”
You glance over at her, narrowing your eyes as your nose scrunches a little. “Don’t call my car dumb.”
Mel blinks, eyes widening slightly as she shakes her head, mouth opening like the words she wants to say are catching in the back of her throat. It makes the heat in your chest flare. You roll your eyes to look back at the popped hood as she stammers.
“I– I didn’t mean it like– You just said it, I was agreeing with you–”
Your teeth bite at your tongue for a brief second as you squeeze your eyes shut. You couldn’t stand her, you couldn’t believe that you’d just been sent home early because of her, and yet here she was, still following you out to the parking lot and continuing to spur you on for God knows why. It wasn’t fair. Wasn’t fair how easily she could go so long without speaking a single meaningful word to you after egging you on enough to admit that you wanted her. How humiliating that had been, the separation after begging for her. Mel had bolted ten feet away from you the moment those beaded curtains had clicked to signal that Nicole had returned.
She didn’t even look at you after, not when you’d been close to tears. She’d taken her drink and left. As if that moment had never happened. It was fine, you’d tried to convince yourself as you’d kept Nicole company over another game of pool (that didn’t last very long–you really didn’t know how to hold a cue), because you had needed a reminder of how much hurt Mel was capable of causing anyway.
“Yeah, all you ever do is try to agree with me,” you grumble, followed by a small huff as you have to work to get the hood back down. Cars were so stupid, no wonder Mel knew how to handle them. She just knew how to handle everything; it made you feel physically sick. “Have a fucking backbone, Mel.”
Mel doesn’t say anything for a moment. You can’t look at her as you round back, skirting the corner of your car as you fumble with your phone. It was too late to bother with a towing company, your brain was caught between a strange state of exhaustion and a fuzziness that only surfaced with a certain kind of tension, so you were going to have to deal with it the next morning. Which was fine, this was all fine–
“I– I thought we were past arguing with each other,” Mel attempts, and there’s the gentle weight of her hand on your elbow as you go to open the driver’s side door.
Harshly, not matching the way she’d reached for you, you jerk your arm away from her like the contact burned you through the layers you were wearing, whirling around to face her. Phone forgotten, screen still glowing in the dim lighting of the parking garage with the words ‘bus routes Pittsburgh’ sitting in the search bar, you tilt your chin up to glare at her. Your back is almost against the car, but there’s enough space for you to be cornered between her front and the vehicle.
“We are not anything,” you snap. “You can’t exist without someone else telling you what to think, how to feel, where to go, and I’m tired of it being me.” Her eyes flutter, hand still awkwardly frozen where it’d been reaching for you, while the other remains shoved in her jacket pocket.
“This isn’t about the fucking PEDs position anymore, Mel, because apparently, no matter how many times I have to remind you that there’s nothing between us– Which you–” You pause to take a breath, your hand with your phone still in its grasp lifting to point at her chest. “You agree with, if your silence after these fights says anything, you still come back like I don’t already get the point that you can take everything away so easily.”
Your chest heaves as you let your arm fall back to your side.
Mel looks stunned, eyes wide and cheeks flushed in the yellow lighting. And honestly, you can’t really blame her. Things had been bottled up for so long that you just didn’t know when to stop now, it seems. Pressing your lips together, you hope no one else is still hanging around this top floor, but the few cars remaining on each aisle are empty. All three of them, not including yours and Mel’s. But, wow, had your tone echoed throughout the space. Now, without it, all you could hear was the slow, lazy chirping of crickets as they begin the transition from warm to cool temperatures.
“I keep waiting for you to give up, but you don’t. Why?” you continue, voice softer now. “Is this fun for you?” you ask, nose scrunching as you hold her gaze. Her mouth closes, jaw clenching. You can tell from the way the muscles on her neck seem to strain slightly. “Is this some obsession? Does it get you off?” Your arms fold over your chest as you take a small step toward her, not bothering to tone down the slightest bit of mocking in your voice. You tilt your head, maintaining eye contact with her when she tries to look away. “Never had the things that people want before, and you don’t know what to do with it–”
“Stop,” she mumbles, still doing her best to avoid your eyes. But she remains in place. She doesn’t leave.
“Why?” you press. “‘Cause I’m right?–”
“Because you’re letting your emotions get the best of you,” she interrupts softly, voice hushed and almost shy. It makes you scoff out a bitter laugh, shaking your head from side to side. But something pangs through your chest.
Because she’s right. Mel’s always right.
“Yeah, you don’t have to remind me,” you say ruefully. “You’re not much better,” you continue, brows pinching together as Mel’s eyes flick to yours finally. Part of you wondered if she was going to fight back again, let you push her over the edge like she had the previous week. Handle you in the way you’d been thinking about all weekend. Every minute she hadn’t spoken to you. “Sad that you need to coerce someone into saying they want you–”
“You did want that,” Mel cuts in, that rational force leaking back into her tone again. But something was lingering. Something more vulnerable that was buried in your own voice as well, not that you’d actually acknowledge it.
“You don’t know what I want–”
The thought evaporates into the cloud that’s been forming around your brain the moment her lips crash against yours.
You lean back slightly from the force of it, arms pinned between the two of you as her hands cup your face. It’s nothing like what you imagined kissing Mel would be like. Well– Her lips are soft, you’d pictured that (felt it from the way she’d kissed your jaw), but that’s about it. They don’t feel soft as they slide over yours with an intensity that you could only describe as devouring. Consuming. Your bottom lip between hers before your brain finally kicks back into gear and you’re tilting forward to kiss her back with the same fervency, one hand going to the back of her head and tangling in her hair. Forcing her to stay as you slide your tongue against hers. It pulls a small sound from the back of her throat that makes your knees weaken.
Mel’s fingers grip your waist a bit tighter, front pressed against yours as your back meets the frame of your car, the slip of how aggressively you’re handling each other making the vehicle shake from the way your body collides with it. It makes you whine softly this time. The way her hands squeeze your sides and the warmth of her body crowding yours. The taste of her on your tongue–
She’s pulling away.
Part of you understands why–you didn’t realize how the air had been thinning in your lungs until she fought back against the weak grip you’d had on her hair. And when you get that small gap between the two of you, your lips feel wet. Kiss swollen with drool on the corner of your mouth as you suck a breath in greedily.
You keep your eyes closed for a moment, waiting for your heart rate to calm.
It doesn’t.
Not when you peek them back open enough to find Mel already looking up at you. Not when your body has already begun pumping arousal through your bloodstream. Her eyes are half-lidded, cheeks rosy as one hand leaves your waist to fumble for the door to the backseat of your car. You hear the way her palm thuds against the metal when you surge up to kiss her again, probably short-circuiting her brain in the way she had with yours. But somewhere along the way of you biting at her bottom lip and one of her thighs nudging between yours in a weak attempt to hold you still, Mel manages to crack the door open.
And her mouth never leaves yours as you get the message, moving to sprawl across the tight space of the backseat.
The moment the door thuds shut again, her hands are forcing your scrub top up and over your head, leaving you with only the long-sleeve on your upper half. Both of you are panting, Mel hovering over you awkwardly so her head doesn’t bump into the ceiling as she drops her bag onto the floor and adjusts her glasses with one hand as your own hands work at the ties of your scrub bottoms.
“I’m sorry,” she mumbles as her weight settles back over you, lips meeting yours like she never wanted to leave them in the first place. “Last week– I thought I made you uncomfortable. I always get worried that I make you uncomfortable, so I try to give you space–”
“You do that again, I’m never going to talk to you again.”
A lie. You both know it, but it makes Mel nod, nose brushing against yours. A small huff leaves your lips, then you’re tilting your head up to close the minimal space between the two of you to kiss her again. And again. Again. Because once is never enough when it comes to her, especially when she seems to be so willing to give.
Her hands tuck under the hem of your long-sleeve, attempting to pull it up and off, only for your arms to be crammed against the door. A breath of annoyance leaves you, one of your hands moving to push her head back down to your chest as you maneuver to slip the fabric off your arms through the neck hole, Mel’s own fingers helping to tug the top down enough to free your tits. The neck would probably get stretched out, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care when the heat of her mouth surrounds one of your nipples.
“Mel–” you gasp, head falling back against the seat as your lips part. She licks at the bud, nails digging into the skin over your ribs as you grind your hips up. And as her tongue drags from one nipple to the other, you give a small tug to her hair, trying to get her to look at you, but she’s too focused on swirling the muscle around your other tit–
Her teeth bite down on the puffy nerves, making you yelp.
“Don’t rush me, please,” she mumbles against your skin, tone leaving no room for argument as she laps her tongue roughly over the peak of your breast. Her saliva pools on your skin, soothing where there would probably be teeth marks tomorrow. You just grind up against her again. “Obsessed,” she repeats what you’d called her softly, one hand sliding over your ribs so slowly that it makes your cunt throb. When she gropes your other breast, tongue still offering tiny kitten licks to the other nipple, it almost feels dirty.
Well, all of this is dirty. You’re about to fuck in the Pitt’s parking garage, where any staff could leave the elevator and see how your car’s windows are fogging up, but the way she massages your tit makes you feel like it’s not even for your pleasure–like she’s feeling you up for her own greed.
“I’m not obsessed,” she whispers, mostly to herself, considering it feels like your head has been submerged underwater. How each of her words sounds a bit murky to your ears because you can only focus on the pressure building in your stomach. How she’s groping you. How you’re rutting against her stomach like a dog in heat. “I care about you,” she continues quietly, placing a small kiss to the nipple she’d bitten. Then to the underside of your breast. Your ribs. Below your belly button.
“And I want you,” she sighs, the relief in her voice almost making you moan as she tugs your scrub bottoms and panties down just enough to settle on your mid-thigh.
The weight of her eyes on your leaking pussy has your bottom lip slipping between your teeth, breath coming quick and heavy as she almost seems transfixed by the sight. Lips wet, eyes wide at the sight of you.
Not obsessed, yeah right–
She leans down, nudging her head between your thighs, and Mel inhales deeply. Your eyes flutter at the sensation, hand returning to the back of her head. Normally, you would have a quip on the tip of your tongue from the action. At the fact that she’s smelling how wet you are for her, except you can’t get the words out. Not when her tongue drags through your folds, collecting said wetness in her mouth before she’s moving back up your body, thumb pushing into your mouth to hold your already parted lips open as she lets her spit and your juices fall onto your tongue.
“Taste how much you want me?”
Apparently, she didn’t have a problem coming up with her own jabs for once.
You can only moan as she kisses you again, sharing the taste of your pussy as her fingers return to the clothing on your bottom half, dragging them to your knees. And so much for taking her time, because she’s moving back between your legs before you can even process that she’s not kissing you anymore. You both moan when her tongue languidly parts the lips of your pussy again, taking all your body’s offering her and practically drinking it down. Mel’s arms wrap around your hips, folding your body slightly to give her enough room to settle on the seat comfortably, holding you to her mouth and preventing you from escaping the way she sucks your clit into her mouth. The suction forces the bundle of nerves from its hood, exposing them to the torture her mouth could provide as your hole twitches to gush more of your juices down her chin.
You were so going to make her clean the seats after this.
But you’re a mess beneath her–sobbing and bucking against her mouth as she never relents on your clit. And considering all of the times you’ve called her pathetic, all of the names and teasing, it’s embarrassing how it takes all of five minutes for you to cum with a yelp of her name. Your thighs twitch around her head, and you wouldn’t be surprised if you cut off her air supply for a moment as you practically ride her face, bucking up against her mouth where the pressure never leaves your clit, hearing how wet you are as you ride out the high against her chin.
But when the peak subsides, black spots from the intensity still dancing across your vision, Mel doesn’t stop.
“Mel–” you squeak out, one hand shakily coming to press against her head as you try to back away from how she’s still sucking your clit, tongue at least giving the nub a break to lap up your orgasm. Except you can’t move your hips away from her mouth. Not when the top of your head meets the car door. Not when her grip around your hips is surprisingly strong as you let out a small cry from the pricks of pain. “Mel!”
“It’s okay,” she mumbles against your pussy, the vibrations making you whimper as you fight to keep your eyes open. “It’ll feel really good in a second, I promise.”
But you can’t possibly believe that when she doubles down, tongue flicking over your clit–pressing flat over the bud and making you clench around nothing. It only feels overwhelming. Like you can’t breathe and that you’re going to overheat and explode– One of her fingers nudges at your hole, the previous orgasm being enough to let it slip in fully without much resistance. You try to decide which finger it is (Pointer? Middle?), but when it crooks up against the front of your walls, the pleasure that rips through your body makes your brain go numb.
The moan that leaves you is so loud, you think you might hear it echo into the parking garage.
“Oh my god– I hate you–”
Mel curls her finger again. Not thrusting, just slow, calculated crooks of the finger to brush against spots deep inside in rhythm with the way her mouth pulses its suction on your clit. “Are you close again?”
Was that– Was Mel King smug?
“There– Fuck, Mel– You’re, hgnh, you’re really good at this–”
The smirk that pulls at her mouth when she flattens the muscle on your swollen, twitching clit so you can grind against her to reach your high again, makes heat in your stomach flare. Because, fine, she could be proud of herself, considering she’d just made you cum twice in under twenty minutes.
You’re a trembling, panting jumble of mindlessness by the time your second orgasm fades.
At least Mel parts from your clit. But that finger remains inside. Still. Not moving. Just feeling the way your walls pulse around the digit.
“It’s not that hard,” she mumbles, shifting back up to have her chest pressed against yours, tucking her face into your neck to press lazy kisses at the hollow of your throat. “You’re very expressive. And sensitive. And I’m a quick learner, so all of that together means that all I really have to do is pay attention to the noises you’re making here–” Leaning up enough for a peck to your raw lips. “And here.” Another finger nudges at your entrance.
A heavy breath leaves you, body exhausted from the intensity of the climaxes it’d been forced through in such a short span of time.
“I want another one,” Mel whispers against your throat.
Your eyes flutter, barely able to stay open as you pant softly. “I can’t–”
“Please…” The two of her fingers slide out of your sopping cunt to the first knuckle. Then, they ease back in, tilting up to that sensitive spot Mel had found in a matter of seconds. “I want you to feel good.”
You want to tell her that she has made you feel good. That no one has ever been able to manage your body like this, pull the reactions from you that she has. That no one has ever cared enough to pay attention. But she repeats the action of crooking her fingers, and the words die on your lips. It makes things clear: Mel’s not giving you a choice.
“And I want you to stop lying,” she mumbles. You can’t keep your eyes open, but you can feel the thickness of unspoken tension of her eyes on your face as your mouth just hangs open. Beneath your lids, your eyes are watering–wet like your pussy, almost to the point where you could cry like the wetness between your legs. “You’re always telling me to stop lying, but you won’t admit that you want me unless I’m giving you attention like this.”
“S’not true…” you try, overstimulation set in so deeply that you can’t even move your limbs. That you just have to lie there and take it. Sweetly, Mel presses a kiss to the underside of your jaw.
“I don’t mind it,” she whispers. “I’ll make you cum as much as you want if you tell me that you need me.”
A choked moan leaves you, brows pinching together when her thumb brushes your engorged, wet clit.
“I know that you want me,” she mumbles, fingers picking up speed in a way that almost feels unfair. You can’t breathe. The coil in your stomach from the deep fingering makes it feel like the edge you’re teetering on could make you pass out. “Tell me you need me, please–”
“Mel,” you groan, hands weakly fumbling to find her shoulders as your head tilts toward hers. “I need you– ‘Ve always– Always needed you,” you finish with a small sob. At that, her thumb settles against your clit. Not rubbing, not with too much pressure, just letting the bud jerk itself against the roughness as her fingers massage your insides. “I’m sorry–”
She shushes you, but the sound is weak.
And when she shifts to kiss you? You’re falling over the edge for a third time, release soaking her hand and the seat beneath you, probably going to stain the faux leather.
But you’re breathing her in, vision almost blacking out from how hard the waves of pleasure hit. Holding onto her, sucking her fingers into your pussy with tiny whimpers against her mouth as her tongue forces its way inside, just like her digits working you through the climax. You were crying. You had to be crying. You couldn’t experience these emotions, these highs, without crying. But by the time you finally come back down to earth, the tears must’ve already dried on your cheeks.
The only thing you can focus on is Mel’s forehead against your own.
Her eyes are closed.
You didn’t even register when she’d slipped her fingers from your overworked cunt.
For a moment, you just let yourself look at her.
Then, you lean in to give her lips another small kiss, still tasting yourself on her mouth.
And when you pull away from her, it makes your chest ache, like the thought of separating from her, the thought of putting that distance between the two of you again, knew exactly where your heartstrings were and plucked at them mercilessly. A sort of gnawing behind your ribs that you would always chalk up to uncertainty. The awkward weight of What Now?, that question that seemed to follow you everywhere. What now? Now that the boundary’s been crossed (it’s been crossed for a long time) and a different kind of feeling had been rooted in your bone marrow. One that, with the thought of naming, came that unsettling tugging of your heart.
You despised not knowing. For you, it always had to be one thing or the other. You needed to get things done before they could sit and inhabit your neurons permanently, before you could truly decide how you felt about something. Logical. You’d always been logical, never acted on emotion. Not until you’d met Mel.
The contemplation of her had swirled around your head for too long, and she’d dug up an emotional part of you that you’d refused to let control you since you’d been accepted into med school. You didn’t want yourself to feel. Feeling impaired judgment, the only thing you could truly let yourself rely on, but Mel made you feel everything.
Anger, frustration, irritation, contentedness, satisfaction, pleasure, hurt, jealousy–seen. Seen in a way that was maybe the origin of all of those suppressed emotions.
Sad.
Sad as you push yourself up and back to sitting with shaky arms. Your elbows feel like they’re about to give out underneath you as your muscles strain to force yourself to move. If circumstances were different, you weren’t in her car in the middle of the Pittsburgh Mercy Hospital’s parking garage, and you weren’t on the verge of passing out from the flood of want still coursing through you, you probably would’ve retreated quickly. Snapped and not say a word unless it’s one meant to sting out of fear for her pulling back your layers like she’s so good at doing. And you would’ve left.
A puff of air heats your collarbone, cooling the perspiration that had gathered in the hollows of your skin, akin to the condensation that was probably dripping down the windows. Her forehead rests on your shoulder, the front of it, glasses digging into your flesh hard enough that they could leave marks. How were you supposed to do this? Were you supposed to wrap your arms around her hunched shoulders? Tell her how good that was? Tell her you were sorry–
A small sniffle derails your train of thought.
The sound goes straight to your stomach, plummeting it from the floaty feeling that only orgasms and intimacy could provide. You almost panic because, oh, there’s another one as Mel shifts her head so her cheek is pressed against your chest, and the tiniest track of water lands on the curve of your breast. It takes your brain a second to catch up to what the implication is: the shortness of breath, how she’s hiding her face. Because you’ve never been very good at comforting people. Your heart continues thundering in your chest as you act without thinking, arms encircling her shaking shoulders as if your muscles aren’t still trembling, muscles weak from exhaustion.
You can’t think of two words to say, your heartbeat is too loud in your ears as Mel lets out a small sob against your skin.
Her hands are scrunched uncomfortably against the front of your ribs, dull nails and damp fingers digging against where your scrubs and long-sleeved shirt are bunched around your middle. The frame of her glasses presses harder. You have to physically fight to keep yourself seated upright as she slumps against you, your legs still straightened as much as they physically can in the cramped backseat, half wrapped around her hips.
Your brain is blank as she cries.
You can only register the feeling of fear as you squeeze your arms around her tighter.
But you stay.
Which is an effort in itself as you try to slow your breathing by tucking your nose into her hair, limiting your supply of air and forcing yourself to be more careful with how you use your oxygen. She smells like sweat. Something minty and herbal. It cuts through the fog, but barely. It just reminds you that she’s here. She’s always been here.
One of your hands slides up to the back of her neck, over her hair, as you hold her. Somewhere, at some point in your study of all of the workings of the human body, you’d learned that pressure on all sides can regulate the nervous system. That being hugged, feeling someone’s heartbeat could be comforting. You hoped that it was true, since you couldn’t manage any words at that moment. You were still struggling to breathe.
And you aren’t sure how long the two of you remain there in that cramping position. Too warm for the small space and feeling too much to put into words. Long enough for you to fully come down from the high of her touching you, that’s for sure. Not that you were yet used to her hands on your bare skin, but the serotonin rush was beginning to wear off and return to whatever its normal level was around her.
Eventually, Mel’s crying slows, finishing with a small hiccup.
Then, silence fills the space between the two of you. Apart from the distant sounds of the city and the trembling breaths that you both seem to share.
“I’m sorry,” you finally manage to whisper. So different from the apology you’d given her the previous week, folded over that pool table. That one had been charged. This was raw. You want to add more, but you don’t know if you have enough sense to make your thoughts comprehensive. You don’t know if Mel wants to continue hearing you out. Obliging yourself to take a deep breath, your arms loosen around her upper half as she shifts against your body.
When she pulls away, your heart aches.
Mel doesn’t meet your eyes. Hers are a little swollen, pinkened over her eyelids as she looks down. Your brain practically screams at you that this is the rejection you’ve been waiting for. That sleeping together after that fight was what finally pushed things over the edge. That intimacy on this level that was held so protectively to both of your hearts ruined things in a way that you weren’t going to be able to come back from. Because you could yell at her, and she could pursue you, and that could still be wiggled away from. But this? This was so real that it could make you suffocate if it tried hard enough.
With a wobbly hand, she nudges her glasses back into place.
“I know you meant those things you said,” she responds in the same tone. The words make your brows crease, a nasty feeling rising in your chest that’s a little fuzzy and enough to have water pricking at your own eyes. “They felt different than… usual.”
Your mouth twists to the side as you try to stop yourself from crying. How badly do you long to reach for her. That was one thing you’d known would happen subconsciously: touch her once and you would always want it.
“I was angry,” you try weakly, voice hushed and colored with shame. You don’t deny that you didn’t mean for them to hurt. That had been your goal. And the contrast now, of attempting to be vulnerable with someone who had always searched for that part of you, was horrible and thrilling all at once. You swallow thickly. “You make me… feel things more than I like,” you whisper, having to look away from her face when her eyes, downturned at the corners, flick up to meet yours.
“Do you know how scary that is?” you whisper, lashes fluttering as you keep your tears at bay. “Being seen for all of the… parts of myself that I hate?” One of your hands lifts to press the heel of your palm beneath your right eye, wiping at sadness that isn’t there. “The things that have lost everything that I’ve wanted, and I just– I keep thinking that you’ll realize that you’re too good for me and I’ll lose you too–”
“You’re not going to lose me,” Mel interjects quietly. Firmly. Her voice is still scratchy from crying, but she says the words with such assurance that the part of your brain that’s still looping how it felt to have her close believes it instantly.
“That doesn’t mean that I deserve you,” you mumble. “I push you too hard. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to the point where I can’t do that.” The admission is freeing, but putting it out between the two of you is a risk that you never imagined yourself taking. But it was happening. It needed to happen if you were ever going to move past your ideology of how good she was. “The PEDs position,” you continue with a tiny lift of your brows, still avoiding her eyes. “I’m projecting. You deserve it more, you deserve everything good the world has to offer, and I’m just… not that.”
You don’t even realize that a tear has fallen until Mel’s gently reaching to brush it away.
The touch is so careful, so loving, even with just a skim of the pads of her fingers, that it makes something deep within you break. And you bring yourself to look at her face as she takes your hand that had been hovering by your face into her own, palm up.
She presses a kiss to the center of it.
And she looks at you. It’s like she’s seeing right through you, deciphering your thoughts and words for all their worth, for all the good they have to offer that you refuse to acknowledge.
“That’s not true,” Mel whispers against your skin. “And I wish you could understand how you deserve everything good, everything you want, too.” Swallowing the lump in your throat is difficult, but you don’t stop her as she speaks. You listen, even if the words are hard to hear. “And for me?” The corners of her mouth twitch up in what you suppose is her shot at a reassuring smile. “You’re the only thing I want.”
Pressing your lips together, fluttering your eyes, is the only way you manage not to cry.
“I love you,” you breathe shakily.
Mel’s features soften, and your heart practically stops in your chest.
Her brows lose that tiny line between them, her lips part as if sucking in air through her nose isn’t enough.
“You love me?” The way she says it, the almost disbelief in her tone, makes part of you want to laugh at how ridiculous the two of you are. Because how could she know you so well and not understand that all of the fighting, all of the convinced hatred you’d had for her was truly your way of needing her. Needing to have her there without showing all of yourself. But now, you were stripped bare emotionally (and physically, but that wasn’t the point) as you nod.
Her smile is radiant. You can’t believe you could cause her to smile like that.
And then Mel leans in to kiss you.
It’s not heated like those first kisses, like what you’ve always imagined kissing her to be like, because there’s no fire left burning within you. Not the kind that makes you twist and try to pull away at least. Instead, your arms wind loosely around her shoulders as her hands find your waist, and your lips meld against hers slowly, silently telling her: I’m done fighting, you won. You’re easing back onto the seats again as she shifts to hover over you. There’s no tongue, just the two of you breathing each other in.
And when you run out of air, Mel only parts enough from you to let you gasp a small breath in. But she doesn’t pull away.
“I love you too,” she whispers against your lips. “I’m not going anywhere.”
You smile against her mouth as she kisses you again, one of her hands leaving your waist to undo the ties on her scrubs.
Summary: Becca arrives at the pitt, Mel wants to but can't take care of her right now which leads to you taking care of Becca instead.
A/N: Mel has a crush on you, Mel talks about you all the time to Becca, Becca practically knows you by heart too. Kingdon x reader if you squint. Reader is taller than Mel? Alright. Becca is a freak in this ig, it's kinda suggestive (Becca thinks you and Mel are hookups). Okay idk why Frank is here for so long, it was meant to be a quick cameo lol
This is my first time writing for Mel or just anyone from the pitt, I only watched one episode but people on tumblr talk about the show so I know like everything- Becca getting laid like crazy, good for her!!
Comments and reblogs are always appreciated!

The shift was going rather well, and usually peaceful for the fourth of July weekend.
You knew it was bound to end.
Frank was annoying chatting with you to no end and as usual, most likely because you were the only one to contact him when he was in rehab.
You didn't know him well when he left and sent a simple message unknowingly made him feel important again even if it was for a minute.
The two of you stood by the nurses station, talking about anything to pass the time.
When Perlah walked up to Mel, what looked like just a normal conversation about a case.
You had only gotten a small bit of it, finally tuning Frank out.
"Said they're your sister." A nurse informed Mel.
Mel didn't need to be told twice. "Becca."
She nearly dropped her stethoscope as she rushed down the hall.
You and Frank glanced at eachother.
"Should we?" He asked you.
You nodded. "Guess so."
The two of you following a 'running' Mel, which proved to be more difficult than you thought.
"Jeez, did she do track or something?" Frank panted.
You rolled your eyes. "You're being dramatic, of course she didn't."
Trinity snorted as she looked up from her charting. "You two look like shit."
You noticed Mel walking with someone who looked eerily similar to her, her sister.
"Insult us later, Santos. We're busy." You followed behind Mel.
Frank stood awkwardly for a moment, running his fingers through his hair.
"Pretty sure that means you too," Trinity glanced at him.
He cleared his throat. "Right yeah, I... I will do that." He walked away.
The three of you plus Becca entered the room. Mel glanced at the two of you but decided not to comment.
"One of us is gonna be assigned to her." You stood by the door.
Frank glanced at you. "Hope you aren't including Mel in that."
You chuckled. "Of course not, she has that deposition that she really shouldn't miss."
You sent Mel a pointed look.
Mel fidgeted with her hands, Frank crossed his arms beside you, his biceps flexing slightly.
"I want you." Becca points at you.
You had to tear your eyes away from both of them before settling back on Becca, making eye contact.
Frank nods in agreement. "They're one of the best, you're in good hands."
He glanced down at Mel, you looked back at her as well and gave her a soft smile.
Mel nodded slowly.
"Mel, can I talk to you for a moment?" You ask.
"Frank, stay here with her for a minute I'll be right back."
You waited for Mel to exit first, you followed shortly after her.
Frank glanced at Becca awkwardly. "They.. always do this."
Outside the room, you looked down at Mel, your arms crossed.
Your face and demeanor nothing but professional.
"Is there gonna be a problem with you about this?" You asked her.
"Oh, no, not at all-" "You know that's not what I meant." You cut her off sharply.
Mel gulped and nodded. "I know."
"You need to relax,
"But, she's my sister." Mel argued.
"Sister, not a dog." You said.
She frowned at the comparison, you placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You don't need to be hovering all the time, not now when you're working." You tell her firmly.
Mel opened her mouth to speak but shuts it shortly after.
You raised an eyebrow, a silent challenge in your eyes as if you couldn't believe she might try to argue your statement.
"You're lucky I have that deposition." Mel mumbled.
"Then get to it, Doctor King." You pulled away.
Mel nodded and adjusted her scrubs.
"Anything you wanna know after the checkup, don't ask me, ask her." You remind Mel.
You entered back into the room and nod at Langdon. "I got it from here."
"What'd you say to her this time?" Frank asked.
You shook your head. "Told her to lay off and let me work."
He chuckled. "You're ruthless."
"Not ruthless, just being honest. Don't tell her that though." You stood by the bed.
This time it was Becca who laughed, it was in that moment you had remembered she was in the room.
You straighten up on instinct.
Frank noticed the change in your demeanor and headed out, turning the lights off as he went.
Giving the two of you much needed privacy.
"Mel talks a lot about you." Becca said almost immediately.
You smiled softly. "All nice things, I hope."
Becca nods. "Very nice things."
"Okay, Becca what brings you here? Heard you're having some stomach pain." You sighed.
The checkup went fairly well, Becca confined in you for a numerous of things.
Things that she hasn't even told Mel, she has a nice boyfriend and apparently they've been having sex, good sex.
You weren't really sure how to respond, you knew you couldn't high five Becca because that's unprofessional.
You weren't sure what to do with this information either.
It most likely went hand-in-hand with her stomach pains so you suppose learning a bit of her sex life is a plus... in the case.
Mel later came back into the room, still looking stressed but slightly relieved after her hearing.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Everything's fine." You answered. "Right, Becca?"
"Mhm, yes. I can see why you like them," Becca smiles.
Mel felt her face heating up slightly, the smirk you sent her way definitely wasn't helping.
She cleared her throat. "Becca, what's wrong?"
Becca answered. "They said I have a UTI."
Mel nodded slowly. "Okay, that can happen from holding in your pee-"
"Or by having lots of sex." Becca smiled wide.
Mel looked at Becca, her smile dropped slightly. "Yeah, that's correct as well."
Becca then proceeded to tell Mel about her boyfriend, saying nothing but wonderful things about him.
Mel couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"I'm your sister, why didn't you tell me?" Mel raised her voice an octave and took a step towards her.
Becca begin to hug herself, seeking comfort.
"Take a walk, Doctor King."
"But I-" "That wasn't a suggestion, take a damn walk." You stared her down.
Mel halted her movements, seemingly on edge and your tone definitely didn't help.
"Now." You took a step towards her and guided her to the door. "Come back in when you're ready to act like an adult."
Becca's eyes widened, she has never seen this side of Mel before.
Never did she ever raise her voice, that was rare.
But she's never seen Mel get handled the way you handle her... like the same her boyfriend handles her in bed.
"Just thought she'd be happier." Becca frowned.
"She is- she will be." You nod. "Mel just has a lot on her plate right now is all."
"She listens to you really well." She comments.
You raised an eyebrow. "Doesn't she listen to everyone well?"
Becca nods. "Yeah but it's different with you. When it comes to me, not many people can tell her off like you did."
"Are you implying something with that or is that simply an observation?" You adjusted your badge.
"Do you talk to her like that in bed too?" Becca asked.
You halted your movements and nervously chuckles. "Oh, Becca. No, no, Mel and I are just co-workers.. we don't- we don't do that... I'll go and get your discharge papers stay here."
You hurriedly exited the room, you had never once heard someone imply there was something going on between you and Mel.
Did it look like that to everyone else? It certainly did to Becca and she was Mel's twin sister.
You found Mel sitting on the floor beside Frank, he noticed you and opted for you to take his place.
"How I acted wasn't professional-" "You feeling better?"
You and Mel chuckled.
"Sorry," You apologized. "You go first."
She shook her head. "Just wanted to say how I acted in there wasn't exactly professional. You were right."
You nudged her. "Bet you're tired of saying that, that I'm right."
Mel nods. "Yeah, I just... she's my whole life, I focus on providing for us, for her. And finding out she has a whole boyfriend. Feels like the mat just got sweeped from under me."
"I get that," You nod. "But you need to understand that she's her own person too, she has her life and you still have a chance to get your own life too. I'm sure she appreciates how much you care, but are you really willing to let that be forever? She enjoys her life and you watch from the sidelines."
Mel looked back at you, her eyes teary. "No, not really. It's hard."
"That's okay, not everything is easy." You said.
"I'll always have you right?" She sniffled.
You nod firmly. "Always."
You linked your pinky finger with hers and for a moment, time lied still and in that same moment.
You made a terribly realization, Becca was right. To an extent, at least.
You may not have been hooking up with Mel but you oh so wish you were.
You wanted to leave kisses in her wake, you wanted to be the first and last face she sees everyday.
Mel glanced down at your lips, an opening. You lean in slowly, testing the waters.
She met you in a soft, hesitant yet reassuring kiss. It was all you dreamed of and more, you needed more of it immediately.
The sound of an ambulance arriving pulled the two of you apart, and back to work you went.
-Oh my god Adrian is such a fucking nerd for you. Think he won't shut up about Fargo or Star Trek? That's how he is with everyone else about you. He won't stop bringing you up literally every instance he can he's obsessed with you he doesn't even mean to do it. "Oh yeah they love that kind of paper too-"
"What??????"
-He was pretty straight up with his feelings for you. With his lack of filter it was pretty obvious and he would high five you and be like bro stop I could kiss you. Wanna kiss?
-Actually takes you out for lunch. The way he asked you out was, and I quote, "Full homo. Let's get lunch?"
-Calls you handsome with that big dumb grin of his all the time. Stares a lot and has to be told to stop
-Straight up tells you a threesome with him and Peacemaker would be "bitchin" of course respects if you aren't comfortable
-Kills anybody who tries to be homophobic and probably has to be stopped multiple times
-Calls you insane pet names like "Baby munchkins" and "My homobre." Which is like Hombre but gayer
-Is taller than you and never let's you forget it
-Demands to be the little spoon and will loudly tell everyone that he is
