[TYSM <3] There are two entirely separate Fanes. The God of Death Fane has no real name or identity. They disguise themself as the real "Fane" who was well-known and well-liked to get that validation they feel they lack. The problem is that they completely don't understand what made the original "Fane" such a popular creature in the first place! They think its looks when it's personality.
