objectively this isn't that bad but i think it betrays a lack of reading comprehension and/or understanding of transfem experiences and i think it follows the all too common pattern of shunning hussie's work because fae're transfem

my take on alpha guardians headcanons is i think the way they portray adave makes way more sense for arose and people just don't see that because of misogyny (dave's not even a man but fandomites don't know thisssss). like i'm not even saying dave WOULDN'T be a dysfunctional adult she 100% would but like? rose "passively suicidal" "generational alcohol abuse" "was severely neglected in the beta timeline" lalonde makes way more sense as a struggling addict who wants to be a good person but doesn't know how to he one or a person at all and avoids her loved ones and engages in self destructive behavior masked as being a party animal about it than dave ever did. i need to see her abandon people who care about her to do cocaine off a stripper's ass and cry herself to sleep #womeninmaledominatedfields also it's literally all speculative so i would like to see more than one adave personality anyway. thank you

so i've been needing something to help motivate me to do my homestuck reread and i've also been wanting to learn to do like. word art. so i've decided to weaponize my tendency to think about Characterce every time i hear any song, both to achieve these two goals and get a better grip on the characters, the story, and the sort of evocative imagery homestuck uses. for every character that's introduced, i'm gonna make a drawing of them that both heavily incorporates the imagery and descriptions present in their scenes and the lyrics of whatever song i'm using. it'll be sick.
