A year ago, I auditioned for Gwen and honestly had no knowledge of what one character could mean to me. It's because of Gwen that I've remained in Sux as long as I have, steadily building up my small army of characters, getting to know so many wonderful people, and getting the honor of being one half of a ship I will never stop crying over. Even though Gwen's personality and traits may have come from various sources, her development over the past year came from two of the greatest people I've ever met.
Sara: Please don't kill me for this. Okay? Okay. Without you, and Kira, I don't know what Gwen would be like right now. When I first started, you and I were already knee-deep in a plot that I honestly had no idea how to continue and grow. And then you took the lead and I followed your brilliance, coming up with the messy, wrecked, and unimaginable relationship between Kira and Gwen. You were the foundation for one amazing experience, and hopefully many more to come.
Aly: My momma duck. Hi, I miss you. I also distinctively remember you warning me on the ooc blog that Nat was going to shamelessly flirt with Gwen. So, ha! You started it! Anyways, back to my point, because of you --there is Tangled. Our beautiful little baby. It was never discussed as a ship, nothing was planned, and everything was out of our control. And yet, a year later, you and I have continuously fought for our ship, through countless mutual death-by-feels, periods of coffin wifi, a bajillion spazz attacks, and enough tears to rival the pacific ocean. Without Nat, Gwen simply would not be Gwen. They stuck together through everything, no matter what shit got thrown in their way, and if it weren't for Tangled, you and I probably never would've created the relationships we had through other characters, so, because you started it all, Thank you.
To the various Suxians who love Gwen, and ship Tangled, whether I've known you for a year or for a month, I love you.
