Billy asking “Is this how Nicky died?” And then Agatha kisses Rio and dies. She didn’t just decide to spare Billy and distract Rio. She was demonstrating. THIS is how Nicky died. It was her love for Rio. He was born from death because he’s Rio’s son and that’s why he died. He wasn’t supposed to ever live because he inherited death. “The kiss of death” or in other words love that kills you, was placed on him before it was born.

It’s heartbreaking that Agatha and Rio broke up due to the simple grief of losing a child to natural causes. Rio actually did give her the gift of time with him, but Agatha’s grief kept her from seeing that.

Even worse, Agatha blames herself for not saving him. She would rather people believe that she killed him rather than admitting that she couldn’t save him.

they said this is the cheapest marvel series ever produced. see, this is what happens when you focus on storytelling instead of unnecessary stuff no one cares about. i loved this episode so much. please, give me more low-budget marvel shows that care about the plot, the characters, and their target audience. i don't need another rdj blockbuster marvel movie. you can have that. give me meaningful stories with a low budget, made by people who truly believe in what they're creating.
