The world blurs around her into light, then darkness, and then, she's somewhere... else.

This, uh, this wasn't supposed to happen.

At least, Elle's pretty sure that's the case. She sure as hell hopes that's the case. Otherwise, she has a hell of a conversation to have with the Think Tank when she gets back about how they'd agreed not to experiment on her without her being on board with it --

Anyway.

The Transportalponder's malfunctioned. Or... glitched? Or... Or. Something. Something. Elle used it to teleport to Big MT, like usual, you know, to check on the Think Tank and see what they've been getting up to while she's been busy putting the technology they developed for her to work. Ulysses helped her to put the emitter fence in place in the Divide, so the Tunnelers are contained -- for now -- which meant it was time to report back to the scientists and make sure they hadn't found trouble in the meantime. They hadn't, thank god, so after sleeping overnight in the Sink, Elle went outside to pull the trigger on the teleportation gun again so she could go home, but --

Instead. Instead, the world blurs around her into light, then darkness, as expected, but after that -- Her stomach lurches, her limbs feel loose, weightless, and she's seeing... stars? Literal stars, with no familiar constellations, or maybe she's just lost, except it's supposed to be morning, daylight. And stars are supposed to be overhead, not... Not all around her. She swears, she even feels the heat from them. Her body finds gravity again, or maybe gravity finds her, and --

She's in freefall.

"What the fuuuUUUAAAAAAAAAHHH -- "

Streaks of neon spin dizzily past her. Darkness envelops her. She doesn't know where she is, when she is, what's going on, and she's survived a lot of things she was never supposed to, but she's pretty sure this would be pushing it --
