Baeoo nods his head rapidly. He had hidden the gift from his roommates since he hadnât gotten them anything for Christmas. He is already getting plenty of flak from them about his run-in with Reagan, and wasnât about to let them subject him to more torment.Â
âOh, absolutely! I didnât know what to get you, but I think youâll like it~â He notes that he didnât ask permission to open her gift and feels a small twinge of guilt as a result. He pushes it away as he waits for her to open the gift. He had spent a pretty considerable amount of time looking for something that he thought she would like, but was decently confident.Â
âItâs just how I was raised, itâs still a habit to ask.â Pushing aside thoughts of âget back to workâ for just a little longer, she carefully opened the package to reveal the teddy smiling up at her. She gasped happily, and smiled as she lifted it from the wrapping and held it fairly close, humming appreciatively.
âI love it, itâs so cute!â she said, looking up at him with a big smile on her face, her heart involuntarily skipping a beat⌠Wait, what? This time, she placed the bear sitting up on her desk, and gave him a hug of her own, slightly firmer than he had been with her. âThank you very much, Baeoo-san!â
"You're welcome Mimi! I'm so glad you like it~ I hope Rina likes it too." He wears an indelible smile as he watched her light up with delight, his heart throbbing just a little bit (Fuck she's so cute). In the back of his mind, he suspected that she is the kind of person that would be happy with any gift, so long as the thought was there, but he is still put at ease by her warm reception of his gift. He breathes a small sigh of relief.
"I have another gift for you, but it didn't come in the mail just yet!"
