This is the best birthday present I've ever gotten. Two years ago my best friend gave me an empty binder with a hand drawn picture of me on the front and told me to carry it around all day. Throughout the day professors, friends, acquaintances gave my notes and poems and letters that they had written for me. Since then I have filled it with all the drawing, cards, and letters I've gotten. This weekend has been really hard and absolute shit. I've cried for pretty much 6 of the last 12 hours. But flipping through this made me remember how loved I am, and I can't think of a better gift anyone could have given me.
