She happily took the wine bottles. She was amused by the heart shape. She remembered hearing that wine was good for the heart somewhere. She didn’t know it was true, but it she didn’t care. Something new to try.

“A heart shaped wine bottle, hmm? It is quite amusing. I cannot wait to try it”

Bringing up Lambdadelta she to wondered where she was. She had not seen her in such a long time. When Bernkastel said that she often thought she would be trapped in a Logic Error Beato was a bit sad, of course it wouldn’t show

“It would be very unfortunate if that were the case. The Sea is large, vast, almost endless. She could have drifted very far away. I’m sure she would try her hardest not to fall into another Logic Error”

Beatrice while not experiencing it herself. Battler did and it didn’t last long, but he talked about how horrible it was. When Lady Lambdadelta talked about her time and even that moment where she sometimes things she never escaped. It was very chilling. Beato couldn’t understand the horrors of a Logic Error to well. She wouldn’t be able to image it and in all honestly she didn’t want too.

“I suppose we can only hope that she wouldn’t be stupid enough to get herself stuck again.” That being said, if Lambda was indeed stuck then when she escaped Bern could lock her up safe and comfort her forever, she wouldn’t get trapped in hell again because Bernkastel would ensure that she could never escape from her golden cage. She would make it comfortable, of course, and if Lambda tried to complain then she would rip out her vocal chords.

“Maybe I should look for her…” It has been said more to herself than to Beato. If Bern found her first then she could make her sorry for abandoning her to boredom.

“Ah, you haven’t experienced a logic error have you?” She tilts her head slightly and absently runs her fingers through her hair “They aren’t fun, do be careful on your voyages.“

“I doubt Lady Lambdadelta wouldn’t find herself in such a predicament.”

The more she spoke on the subject, the more curious she would become. She would not dare try and discover what a Logic Error was like and she couldn’t just ask those that were ensnared in such a nightmare to speak about it again. She would either gained their wrath of worse. She was not about to have that happen. Speaking of..when asked about experiencing a logic error she shook her head and she didn’t plan on it anytime soon

“They seem to more then just “Not Fun”. I still remember Lady Lambdadelta talk about when Battler fell into one. Not even he speaks about his time in one. I have no intentions of falling into such a state.”

That moment was burned into her brain. Seeing the Witch of Certainty’s behavior change into what seemed to  be a temporary loss of her mind or perhaps the memory of it coming back struck such fear into her that it brought back a mindset she had while there. Admitting that she sometimes wonders if she ever got out. Battler didn’t speak much about his time, while short it had an effect on him.

A deep frown made it’s way onto her face. They were indeed like an old married couple despite how young they looked. The urge to throw a spike at his face was huge, but she wouldn’t do such a thing. Not that it would kill him, but still. Forever was a long time 

“I want to experience what other married couples do. Go out to a beautiful location and explore” She huffed

Rokennjima was nice and all, but now that she can go outside her fragment she wanted to see all that there was. She traveled a bit on her own, but hearing Kyrie and Eva talk about their Honeymoons. Beato wanted one too

“Kyrie and Eva told me about their Honeymoon. Eva went to Paris and Kyrie went to the beach in the Bahamas. Hearing them talk about it sounded so lovely.”

How they described it was just exciting. To walk along the streets of Paris, the city known for romance. Having a glass of champagne on the Eiffel Tower or lounging by the beach while the hot sun beats down, trying new foods and such. It all sounded like fun and Beato wanted to do it all.

 So I would hope my darling HUSBAND. Would want to at least do that and get it out of the way.”

The Golden Witch. Terrifying, cruel and sometimes unforgiving, but at times she can be whiny and childish. This was one of her moments.

He had known that getting involved in the world of witches would lead to more trouble than he bargained for – at the start of this game, he never would have imagined that he’d be here, with that cruel woman as a wife, accepting the magic that occurred around him daily and participating in it himself.  How had he been tricked into being here, now?  How had this horrible, awful, evil witch managed to steal his affection?  What a strange magic it was – and yet, when he saw her pout, those big blue eyes narrowed in a selfish fit, he couldn’t help but smile, his heartbeat speeding up to remind him that he had made the right choice.

❝ Don’t go comparing me to the old bastard, now,❞  he mused, still lying back comfortably, making no sort of effort to get up. ❝ If he took Kyrie-san to the Bahamas, then there’s no way that I’ll be taking you.  I have no interest in seeing the same sights as that geezer.❞ A small sigh, as he finally straightened up on the chair before standing, crossing the distance between himself and witch.  It wasn’t that a honeymoon didn’t sound appealing – in fact, something to seal this whole deal might be good for the both of them.  But it all just seemed too monotonous – too familiar, boring, usual – for such an unconventional pair.

❝ Women are impossible to please – you should know that by now.  If I pick somewhere to take you, you’ll just be disappointed, or wish that I had taken you somewhere else.  So pick a place.  You want to go to Paris?  Fine.  Say the word.  I’ll take care of the rest, if that’s what you want so bad.❞

“Not true. You just need to know how to please them. Perhaps men are just bad at wooing their ladies. Maybe, should summon Zepar and Furfur to teach you the ways of love and how to woo a lady” She replied

Well in all honesty she might be the one that won’t be pleased. While she may enjoy a vacation she’s used magic too much to completely enjoy herself without it. A simple trip may not be enough Then again she’s never gotten to travel outside the Golden Land so it might for a moment be even better then magic

“You might not see what he sees, but we can go there another time...or I’ll drag you there. I haven’t used the leash and collar in awhile it looks so snug aronud your neck” She added with a slight cackle

She shrugged either way she was going somewhere new

“To Paris then. I cannot wait to see all the sights it has to offer”

A laid-back sigh, as Battler reached his arms up into a stretch, legs following suit before shifting to a different comfortable position on the chair; hands placed behind his head as a pillow, he finally turned to the source of the whining, eliciting a low whistle as he took in the witch’s appearance.

❝ And how do you suppose I think about a honeymoon when I get all this chirping in my ear the second I walk in the door, huh? ❞  He waved a hand dismissively, the other still supporting the back of his head.  ❝ If I wanted a pushy woman, I would’ve stuck with that crazy pirate bitch – not that she had anywhere close to the pair of tits you do… ❞ He grinned – this never-ending back and forth rarely got old.  ❝ We have forever, don’t we?  What’re you in such a rush for? ❞

She wasn’t too surprised he was unimpressed. Lord Death was said to be the level of Creator or maybe very close to it. He must have seen everything this world has to offer. She was still nervous about his presence here, but tried her damnest not to show it. He was no different from her in a way. Boredom was his poison just like other witches.

“Stories are still passed down about you Lord Death. I recall asking my teacher about you when she taught me magic and she said you were terrifying. Each tale is different, but they all agree that you are a force not to be trifled with. It is said that you are one of the first beings to achieve Creator Status”

Was it 900 years? Beatrice was a bit surprised by that. Wasn’t death supposed to be as old as time? Then again those were stories she heard. Some spoke of death like he was a friendly sort and would hold your hand while talking you to the underworld or perhaps leading you to the gates of heaven, while he would drag you by your tongue to his boat to hell.

The Golden Witch was very curious to learn a bit more about him.

“ Well … ‘ ACHIEVE ’ . I was  a l w a y s  like that, after all, < TIME > , < LIFE > and  my humble self  created the  sea of nothingness  and the  plain of gods  ; from which the  f r a g m e n t s  were born … ”

He remembered simply existing , not dead yet not alive either, just being there. Then sometime he had the desire to < BE > apparently he was not alone and thus the multiverses were born . But if he was honest with himself, he felt a little awkward talking about his story like that . 

“ Your teacher must be a < wise one > . But I do have to say, I did hear a story about < THE GOLDEN WITCH BEATRICE > , as well. Is it true that your game is  E N D L E S S  ? If yes, it must be ongoing . ”

You could say the GOD himself was like that as well, but some witches viewed that being as more then or used a different title. One could say that GOD created DEATH. The First CREATOR, The one that never sleeps unlike most Creators.

“Ah, it was, but now my games have ended. I find other ways to entertain myself such as traveling the Sea itself”

Well sort of. Battler and her still played games on occasion so one could say it was still ongoing. Some games they allowed spectators and others it was private, but as time went on in the mortal realm went on. New Material came along thanks to the Witch of Resurrection, Ange-Beatrice. Truthfully she hasn’t played any games since her new title.

“What of you? Have you played games in your many years of being? Do they entertain you?”

She asked because what she knows of Creators. They know everything that can and will be. Leading to a life without surprises, making them easy to kill with the poison known as poison. One particular creator she has met Madam Featherine Augustus Aurora sleeps for many years and wakes hoping to find something new.

Here is the secret to fandom:

Give zero fucks about what anyone else is doing.

Seriously.  I mean it.  Because inevitably you will love something that no one else loves.  Or you will love something that everyone loves and people will shit all over it because it’s “so trite and unimaginative and done.” Or you will love something that no one else has ever heard of.  Or you will love something dark and edgy and or obscure and people will roll their eyes and say, “What, do you want people to think you’re dark and edgy and obscure?”

Alternatively, you will not love the thing that everyone else loves, and you will wonder what precisely is wrong with you that the sight of that thing is aggravating the shit out of you now when the whole world sings its praises as one.

People will irritate you.  They’ll irritate you with headcanons that make no sense and misinterpretations of canon.  They will make the same jokes 500 times.  They will overwhelm your corner of fandom with something you either are tired of hearing about or don’t care about.  They will post art that isn’t theirs.  You will meet people who think you are the greatest person ever and bombard you with messages  only to wander off when they find someone new or shinier; you will meet people whom you admire and who do not really seem to notice you exist. 

So give zero fucks about it.  Seriously.  Like what you like, blacklist what you need to blacklist, and ignore everything else.  Be friends, play nice, enjoy it.  And in the meantime, just do you.  Like what you like, love what you love, and to hell with all the rest of it.

She was still sore for taking the items without her say so. It was such a lovely find and it held such power and to not use it at least once was upsetting 

SNICKERING COULD BE HEARD IN THE DIRECTION of the demon, curls bouncing in sync of her bobbing head. Said head was coming from high above the witch, poking from a hole in the ceiling. Gaap was floating leisurely ( or that’s what she’s attempting to look like ), what with her neck down missing from sight. It was just one of those days; a normal afternoon of totally pissing off her best friend.

But for good reason.

And then she ends it with a laugh.

This is one of those rare times that she shows this side of her in front of people she considers friends. Although, she wasn’t showing much class by whining like this and Gaap just denying her what she wanted made it worse. She was like a child throwing a temper tantrum

Golden Roses surrounded them lighting up the entire area. The sky was a dark purple color. Butterflies colored gold fluttered around garden, it was something out of a fairy tale. When he introduced himself she was surprised She realized now why there was a chill that ran through her. She stood face to face with Death himself. Despite the surprise she made sure to not break her mask and keep on a kind face. She would channel her teacher if she must

“Death you say? As in Lord Death? My, this truly is something. Never in my years did I ever expect to meet you face to face.”

Lord Death was talked about among other witches. A being that could kill anything without fail no matter how strong you are. Death was what Witches escaped from constantly. To think Beatrice would meet the being and have tea with him was enough to throw anyone for a loop. She could hear the chatterings of witches saying how the Endless and Golden Witch herself had  tea with Death

A flicker of her wrist and butterflies gathered in between them. A table and two chairs appeared. The smell of tea traveled in the air. Beatrice loved Black Tea, so of course that is the type she would serve. There was also some snacks on a plate left on the side. All kinds of sweets for them

“Now then, if you do not mind me asking. What brings you to my fragment? It’s not everyday you have Lord Death come to your home” She asked curiously

She hoped he was curious instead coming to claim her. That would be very unfortunate

                                                                                                           His gaze fell on the tea . < BLACK TEA > , relative bitter to the taste, but often sweetened with fitting  marmalade  or  honey  . The classic would be  milk  and  sugar  . The variations of serving this tea were increased. A  s m a r t  move.

“  B o r e d o m   is the only thing that can ‘ KILL ME ’ . Kind of. At least it’s a pain in the neck , I started wandering around and fell in front of your fragment . Though I am surprised that you know of me and how voyagers used to call me! I did kind of disappear the last 900 years . I’m sure a lot old witches  d i e d  and new ones were  b o r n  ! ”

“But of course, I’ve done a bit of traveling myself after gaining the new title of Voyager Witch myself”

To gain such a title was quite the treat. She finally got to explore the Sea of Fragments. So many billions of worlds to explore. It was honestly overwhelming to be presented with so many worlds to observe and with so much time on her hands she would take in a big chunk at a time. Of course she took her time with these fragments. Taking in too much and you will have practically seen everything and that breeds boredom. Hear about Erika and what her master has done to her just made her chuckle

“Is that so? I’m sure she doesn’t mind. I can only imagine he face when being sent on those wild goose chases. I wonder did she cry out in frustration?”

The idea of Erika being sent to a fragment that is incredibly simple her head would spin in frustration is highly amusing. That detective loved a challenge and to present something so simple it would bore an infant child was satisfying to her. She could imagine the look on that girl’s face and it was beautiful. Stricken with annoyance and maybe even hate

“Oh? I hadn’t heard that you’d been granted a new title. I suppose a congratulations is in order. I have some nice wine that I’m sure you’d appreciate.”

So Beato was going to be joining her in drifting between Game boards. Maybe they’d bump into each other again whilst exploring. She couldn’t help but smile at that. Wouldn’t it be fun to play another Game with her?

“Oh it was, if you’d seen her face. It would have been enough to make you smile at the memory for centuries, even in the clutches of boredom.”

It had been entertaining to watch her little piece. Her face contorting into anger before slipping back into her haughty exterior. Bernkastel knew that Erika could never hate her but it was fun to see how far she could push it. Sometimes she wondered if Erika felt the same about her as she felt about Featherine. Maybe she should ask.

Well new wine at least. The Ushiromiya Family had wine, but it was the same and Beato had already tried all of them. She could finally add to her collection now that she was a voyager. Even Wine flavors impossible to humans would be available to her, just the thought if it made her giddy

“Oh I bet it will, perhaps I’ll come across her one day and see such an expression on her face. It’s been quite some time since I’ve seen it. I do miss it seeing her face twist and contort into agony and frustration”

Beato’s opinion of Erika was obviously low. The pesky detective caused her and Battler so much grief. Just the idea of crushing her was pleasing to the Witch and would give her some escape from the boredom.

“What of Lady Lambdadelta? Have you seen her roaming around the sea?” She asked

“Of course, I do hope you like it, I came across it in a rather quaint little world. There wasn’t an awful lot of interest going on but their food and wine were most pleasant.” She motions her hand briefly, summoning a bottle of wine, the glass was in the shape of a human heart “I found the design to be quite humorous too.”

“Mmm, Lambda?” She looks thoughtful, as though she had to put effort into remembering “I haven’t seen her in the longest time now. We met up briefly and shared a few games but we never wish to tire of one another.” Her beloved rival had since made herself quite scarce. Bernkastel had run into whispers of the pink-clad Witch but she hadn’t actually interacted with her in the longest time “You know I sometimes have moments where I wonder if she’s got herself stuck in another logic error. I would hate for her to experience such a thing again but it would make a reasonable excuse for her absence.”
