I have only a vague idea of Pokémon from my younger brother being a hardcore fan, but this is such a well made comic, the pacing and paneling, the backgrounds and characters are all so amazing 👌👌👌👌👌 you’re doing awesome and I’m excited to see more in August!!

That's so awesome to hear! I'm trying to make Gympunk with this experience in mind as well. I've got a handful of friends that haven't consumed Pokémon either, so I want them to enjoy it too when I make them read it.

Hiii, i just binged the whole comic so far!! I love it, your art is gorgeous, like pro shit, it's wonderful! And i love the characters, and the setup with hal as a grownup who gets to go on his journey! So great!

Thank you so much!! I did a lot of practicing and emulating traditional manga techniques to get the look where I wanted it and I'm really happy with how it's going.

Hal's perspective has been really fun to write so far, because adults tend to reinforce worldbuilding in a way that kids don't have to vis a vis everyday minutiae. The problems for each age range vary quite a bit, but kid problems tend to be more entertaining than adults.
