A Tilting Tennant
Hello~ Just wanted to ask something and confirm my overthinking (of uh) whether there was any significance in how Crowley and Aziraphale were framed(placed/position) in the 3rd episode of Good Omens. In their interactions throughout the years, Aziraphale would always be on Crowley's left side and that only changed when they had a talk the year 1967, when Aziraphale gave the holy water. Was there anything more to the aesthetic of the said episode?
It always changes when they are in the car, because in the UK we drive on the left.
And the curtains were just fucking blue.
Except this is a really perceptive question. We took care to always put Aziraphale on the left of the screen and Crowley on the right (so Aziraphale is always on Crowley’s right), all the way through Good Omens. It’s a real thing, to the point where when you see them reversed on the bench in the park at the end, or even when they are buying ice creams, it’s a subliminal clue that something’s off.
And we did it everywhere except in Crowley’s car, where we couldn’t do it. So if someone wants to ask about that, in terms of theme and imagery, I think they are absolutely allowed. And if someone wants to headcanon why that is in plot terms, I’m all for it.
David Tennant and Selfies
Edited to add bonus (since Crowley invented selfies):
Edited to add David Tennant and Michael Sheen at the Good Omens London Premiere (since Crowley invented selfies, it would be wrong to not include some Good Omens in this set)
Shadow Self
Do you ever feel like you are constantly being suffocated by a heavy, dark shadow? Always there, lurking. You can't see it, you just feel it's presence. Throwing shade on what should be happy moments, suppressing joy, choking contentment.
You ignore it. Fight it. SCREAM like the sound may rip it away and send it back to whatever version of hell it came from. Yet day in, day out, you wake up and fall asleep with this dark creature, this shadow, lurking.
Looking in the mirror, seeing the long term effects of living this way. Focusing on my eyes, the weary, flat gaze. I wonder...was there ever a shadow stalking me or was it the girl in the mirror, me, the whole time?
The Fall
Finally finished!! Hannibal season 4 trailer :D …not real, obviously. But one can hope

do you ever read fanfiction so good you wish it was a book that you could buy and put on some shelf in your bedroom and gaze at sometimes and remember how amazing that motherfucker was instead of having to squint at it on your too bright phone screen at 3 am
Fannibals, I need a little favour!
My Hannibal article in Scream Horror Magazine is available to read NOW, and I need your help!
A few weeks after Hannibal was cancelled, I was thinking about how we needed more positive press about the show to keep interest alive (i.e. less depressing ‘the end of Hannibal’ stuff, because boy was there a lot of that). And I figured, who better to write about Hannibal than a fannibal, right? - someone who knows and loves the show inside out. So, after a few glasses of wine one night, I got in touch with a horror magazine called Scream. And after sending them a very heartfelt, not at all tipsy email about Hannibal and the Fannibals, they graciously permitted me to write an article about the show for the Hallowe’en issue of their magazine (Issue 33).
I then reached out to the awesome Janice Poon who was incredibly lovely and let me do a short interview with her for the article. The end result is my 4000+ words love letter to the show and the fans, 5 pages long, stuffed with as many tiny references to the show’s dialogue as I could slip in without the editor noticing.
The digital edition of the magazine is available now, the print edition should be out Friday 30th October as far as I know. It ships internationally but their pre-order sales are apparently huge (they think it will sell out) so are only continuing to take pre-orders for the next 24 hours - you can order here if you’re interested. UK fans should be able to find it in most HMV, Fopp, and Forbidden Planet stores from the 30th, but it will probably sell out in many stores too. (Sorry for the shameless plug, I’m just really excited). Someone with more tech skills than me could probably scan it too.
My favour to ask is this - if you read the article and enjoy it, I’d really appreciate you sending a little tweet to @screamhorrormag about it. It was great of them to let me do this considering I’m just some random Avid Fan (although there’s a small chance I made myself sound waaaay more professional when I emailed them, god help them if they find my blog) and I’m hoping they’ll let me write for them again, especially if/when we get a fourth season. And if you had a spare moment, it would be lovely if you could also tweet Janice because she was so amazing letting me interview her (there’s a chance that I also didn’t tell her about being a random fan, whoops…).
I didn’t get paid for writing it by the way (at least not yet, maybe they want to surprise me? I was too nervous to ask to be honest and I don’t really care) - I wrote it just because I love the show and I will do anything to keep interest in the show alive until we get another helping. I think it’s vital that we let the media know that fans WANT more stuff about Hannibal, let them know that we’re not going anywhere and interest in the show is still very much alive, so I would really appreciate your help with this!
Thank you in advance, I know I can count on my fannibal family ^-^ Oh, and the title of the article? Don’t worry about it - it’s not defeatist, I swear. Hannibal’s got a god complex, and this seemed like a fitting title for something that is very much looking forward to a resurrection…
A handful of shots from Red Dragon convention this weekend.
I have more but I’m exhausted. I’ll put the rest up soon…
Hannibal Lecter
Once in a while, when I’m out on the lawn, I’ll jump around and do a couple of things. Here’s a secret: The older you get, the more difficult it gets. The smallest little injury stays with you for so long. But that’s how it goes, and it doesn’t stop me. I’m always ready to do something that hurts a little!
