Since the whole thing with NaNoWriMo has gone down, I've noticed that one of their former sponsors, Ellipsus, has cut contact with NaNoWriMo because they do not support their stance on AI; I didn't know what Ellipsus was, but upon further research I've found that they are a writing platform that works a lot like Google Docs and Microsoft Word, only with a heavier leaning on the story-writing aspect and connecting with other writers - and they also completely denounce any use of AI, both in the writing process itself and in the use of their platform. I really appreciate that.

Since this is the case (and since I've noticed Google has begun implementing more AI into their software), I've decided to give Ellipsus a try to see if it's a good alternative to Google Docs (my main writing platform). It's completely free and so far, I've found it simple to use (although it is pretty minimal in its features), and I really like the look of it.

I figured I'd spread the word about this platform in case any of you writers would want to give it a try, and if you do, let me know how you like it!

Luciferians need more discreet symbols

I propose a new symbol for Lucifer and his followers: the humble apple

We're all familiar with the story of Adam and Eve with how many classical and modern artists choose to represent the forbidden fruit as an apple (instead of a pomegranate, like it's supposed to be).

I think a whole apple could represent Lucifer.

An apple with a bite missing might represent working with Lucifer

An apple core could symbolize someone who follows or works with Lucifer.

I just think this would be good for those who are in situations where they can't be open about their faith.

How I do mirror scrying with compact mirrors: simplified

My two current compact mirrors

Scrying is a vast and versatile form of divination which involves gazing into a chosen medium to derive information that is concealed and information about current/upcoming events. It can be done with numerous items and materials ranging from fire and smoke to crystal balls.

HOWEVER, we are focusing on mirrors today. These techniques are applicable to black, obsidian, and silver mirrors as well as the basics of water scrying.

TYPES OF MIRRORS

Mirror 1: obsidian

Obsidian mirrors are made from black obsidian, which makes them the more expensive option in this lineup. To me, it feels like they offer a level of protection due to the nature of the stone it's made of. Still gotta ward it though.

Mirror 2: Black Mirror

Black Mirrors are like obsidian mirrors when you compare their colors, and one could argue that obsidian mirrors are black mirrors in a way, but the difference is that many black mirrors in existence are handmade. They are typically created using a glass picture frame and black paint. Depending on where you get the picture frame and paint, this may be one of the more budget friendly options.

Mirror 3: silver mirror

Scrying mirrors don't have to be black, any mirror will work as long as you assign it the role of being a divination mirror. I personally use a silver mirror. Like Black Mirrors, silver mirrors can be very budget friendly.

HOW TO HOLD YOUR MIRROR

So, for mirror scrying you have to hold your mirror at an angle that the surface is clear and empty so it's free of distractions. If you can see your face, you're holding it wrong.

HOW TO SCRY, SIMPLIFIED

For this, you will have to relax your eyes and observe. Keep your question in mind as you observe without judgement. The information will come to you in various ways, for me it's small scenes and images that are metaphorical and sometimes it's literal. Some people find scrying hard because you have to trust your gut and intuition, if you have trouble with trusting what you see in your head write it down or type it out.
