Doing a deep dive on how to be a good first time GM has led me to the conclusion that a lot of people would be way happier (1) knowing there are game systems other than D&D out there (2) taking a chance on asking their close friends to join instead of immediately assuming none of them are interested and going to find random people on the internet and (3) realizing what they actually want is LARP
#just a comical number of stories about people who like playing characters and hanging out with their friends also in character#and seem irritated when the game part ‘gets in the way’ of that#like. they aren’t bad people or even being dicks they just are not participating in the right activity#mine#text post#h0ney GMs
