(Maybe a lil angst???) Random thought about Venti:
After knowing you, his drinking habits lighten up.
He likes the taste of wine but the main reason he drinks so much is because he's still grieving the death of the nameless bard.
He was originally a wind spirit, he didn't know much about the world and the nameless bard was the one who taught him many things about humanity, so Venti never learnt how to fully deal with his emotions after his death.
He's able to understand others, he's really empathic after all, but he's got big trouble dealing with his own ones and it ended up with alcohol dependace.
The moment you meet and start getting along he will slowly find himself looking for you whenever he's feeling down. It starts really subtlely. One night, instead of spending all his money in wine he decides to stay mostly sober, only drinking one glass or two, just to talk with you without losing conciusness.
Then, another night, instead of going to the tavern he suggests going to Starsnatch cliff to do some stargazing. And slowly, those lonely nights he was used to became intimate moments with you.
Some times, when he is feeling specially down, he wraps his arms around you and buries his head in the crook of your neck while you give him small pats. He hasn't forgotten the nameless bard and all the other friends he has met, but now he has other ways to deal losing his loved ones.
Just don't die too soon, he's gone through a lot and losing you will surely make him return to his old habit of drinking but worse.
