Happy egg yolk dick Tuesday!!
A question for the ages.
The earlier on Tuesday you reblog this the funnier it is. (5:28am)
Vultures are a conservation success story in South Asia. The birds were almost wiped out in the late 1990s, losing nearly 99% of the population due to Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which was used to treat cattle. As nature’s cleaners of animal carcases, their absence caused a huge spike in cases of rabies.
Today, vulture populations are slowly rebounding. This beautiful yellow fellow is an old-world Egyptian vulture. Did you know “new world” and “old world” vultures are not closely related? The family Accipitridae is primarily found in Africa, Europe and Asia. New World vultures of the family Cathartidae are native to the Americas.

Be honest, are you a bad person in any kind of way? I've been finding out about gross stuff that a bunch of blogs I really liked did and I feel icky :(
yeah in most ways. Good luck out there

SINNERS
2025, dir. Ryan Coogler
I just googled this and… yes, it’s absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.
I have a wild idea. what if we supported our claims of fact by linking to a reliable source. better yet, what if we went hogwild and just straight up linked to the actual unpaywalled study
