an internal cuddler is an alter who helps with touch starvation or fear of touch (either their own, another system member's, or both) via taking time to cuddle or give positive touch in some way to other alters internally. this can be considered a caretaker or internal self-helper role.

an outreacher is an alter who refuses to leave others behind. they reject the idea of "evil people" and believe in always giving opportunities to allow other system members (primarily persecutors and adjacent) to heal and get better. this does not mean they don't have an end to their patience. many (but not all) outreachers are gatekeepers or closely connected to a systems gatekeeper(s), and will take appropriate action (whatever that means to the outreacher) when their kindness and generosity has been taken advantage of, or their lines crossed. this role can be considered both a caretaker and protector role, along with (as previously stated) occasionally being a gatekeeper role.
blue: trust, forgiveness, understanding, fluidity
yellow: kindness, hope, generosity, light, redemption
gold: strength, finality, protection
a firewatch is an alter who watches for innerworld/headspace conflicts or danger. this role is centered around keeping the inhabitants (particularly of large systems) in headspaces safe by intervening when necessary. they could have a secondary or even primary caretaker role to compliment this position. this can be considered a protector role.
light red: obvious danger, caution, impulsivity
dark red: harm, malicious behavior, hidden danger
light yellow: understanding, intervention, love, redemption
dark beige: misunderstandings, fear, self-sabatoge
brown: comfort, genuineness, home, softness
burnt orange: warmth, kindness, boldness, heart-to-hearts
