Hades Ozsan “your pretty face” Appreciation [79/?]
nihiliiism:
“ Where you been keeping yourself lately, Hadrian? ” Alaska started, filling herself a shot of tequila, the auburn liquid splashing against the glass. “ I barely see you in my neck of the woods anymore. Oh wait, you found yourself a girl didn’t ya? ” She asked, before bringing the cool glass to mouth and downing it’s entire contents.
Ready to burst into a ridiculous tale about where he had been to make her laugh, the blonde’s mention of Helena caught him entirely off guard. Was that what she was? His girl? He couldn’t imagine a girl like her belonging to anyone. She was hardly a girl, either, more like an angel, so pure and unlike any other on this planet. ‘ I guess you could say that. ’
‘ Well, Miss Elsa sure is a generous lady. I think it’s really nice that she let you stay here with your sister even when you’re not a freak. What’s your sister’s act here? ’
drowningxguilt:
‘ Yeah I guess she is. It’s not like I don’t offer services, though. Lexi’s a contortionist. ’
‘ Oh, so are you new here too? ’ Alan inquired.
drowningxguilt:
‘ No, actually, I’m just not officially a part of the show. My sister is I stay with her. ’
drowningxguilt:
‘ Neither ’ The young warlock shrugged. ‘ What about you? ’
Unsure what he meant by that, Hades gave a shrug of his own. ‘ Neither. ’
drowningxguilt:
“So, like…What determines if you get a caravan or a tent?”
‘ Which do you have? ’

A scoff fell from lips in the form of a puff of smoke as toffee irises looked over the familiar face. “Hadrian, what a fuckin’ pleasure.” His tone peppered with sarcasm, bled with bitterness. The younger male was one of the men whose name wasn’t a thing of beauty to the club, but Beckett’s tolerance with the Men was what held the gang back from acting on their loathing.
“Your preconceived ideas of us aren’t the only thing you need forgivin’ for, are they?”
A fucking pleasure indeed, there were few people Hades dreaded more than the Men. The club was dangerous and his big mouth had gotten him into trouble more than once, but if he ever had to worry about the safety of his family, he would take their wrath a hundred times to ensure it. ‘ Keep your forgiveness, it means nothing to me, and neither fo your words. I'll believe your intention when it rears it's ugly head. ’
princeofmayhcm:
Residents laid eyes on the Men of Mayhem patch and scattered like bugs, the leather patch on his back was no exception to this act. While their actions were questionable, they were something of a vigilante, wanting nothing more than to protect their community, their little town. But for many, they were just a pack of criminals who wore leather and rode bikes. What a misconception.
Regardless this night wasn’t able the vice president, it wasn’t about his club, it was able the fallen figures of their nation, Lilith included. Sweet Lilith, president Cormier’s beloved, Tilly and Harri’s mother. Of course the formal funeral was years ago, but this was about remembering. Standing on the shore of the ocean, the smell of salt and smoke filling his nostrils as he lit a cigarette, toffee-stained orbs catching someone approaching, without looking to see who he or she was, his tobacco-stained lips parted. “Look, we ain’t here to cause any trouble.”
We, being his club, the line one that left his lips more often than not, reminding citizens that they were on their side was a regular occurrence for the vice president.
The surprise wasn’t that Hades had had more than one run-in with the Men and more than enough bad blood, but that one or any of their members had shown up to the memorial at all. From what he knew of them, they were criminals, scum with no remorse for the pain they caused and that was where the problem lie. With no remorse there was no humanity, and there was nothing Hades respected less. ‘ Forgive me if I find that hard to believe. ’
“wither and die, hades.”
“no other place compares to this baby, this bartender here–” she started, pointing to herself. “now she is the best at what she does.”
“Harsh.” He gave her a bright, white smile.
“Well, you know, I can’t argue with that.” He grabbed the shot she’d set before him and swallowed it down, meeting her gaze.
it was something she’d never seen in him before. pure rage. and it was frightening. taking a step back as he yelled at her, her breath caught in her throat. this wasn’t him, this was someone else pretending to be him. “hades, please stop. i-uh, i don’t know why you’re doing this but please, just–just come home with me. we can talk this out.”
He bit his lower lip and wiped his face of sweat even though the night air was cool on his skin. He looked at his sister, for all intents and purposes that was exactly what she was. She had been the bright spot in his universe, and from the moment she’d entered his life, happiness was possible. Suddenly, he felt selfish for loosing himself. “I’m sorry, Lex, I-I don’t know what’s going on with me.”
As soon as his strong touch engulfed her dainty hand wound in his hair, the blonde felt everything coming back to her. Every laugh, every word, every flower, everything she had gained since being saved. It came back in waves, overcoming her with emotion, reminding her that life could be happiness. Helena’s eyes watered instantly at his reassurance, the large eyes becoming streams as she felt the relief. A relief no one would understand but her, relief greater than any other emotion. Relief washing through her blood and awakening her bones, bring her back to life, assuring her than she was alive, that she knew beauty and she knew love.
“Hadrian, I-…” She choked back a sob as she clutched on to him, the small amount of strength the blonde possessed gripping his shirt. Touching him and breathing him in, accepting that she was back, that he was real, that she was saved. Her lips found his neck and while her touches had been cautionary before, having been dropped back into her nightmare, alone and cold and in so much pain, all she wanted was to be touched with no cruel intention behind it. The soft skin of her face burying itself in his neck, her tears wetting them both. Her sob broke as she shook in his grip, the entire ordeal releasing itself from her body but the trauma still great, still weighing so heavy on her soul.
“I-I thought I would never feel this again..” She whispered into his body, hiccuping with her deep cries, “I never thought I would see you again..”
He didn’t want to see her crying. He didn’t want to see tears leaving streaks on her cheeks, but even when his large thumb wiped them away the wetness was still there. He knew they were tears of joy, but her emotional state made him hurt for her. When he thought of the innocent girl, who had never played sports or tried alcohol, screaming in her sleep his heart broke, and he finally just wanted her to be okay. She was an angel, of that he had no doubt, and she did not deserve this life. if there was a world where she could have had flowers in her hair and beauty in her voice, he would have found it. He was afraid no such thing existed though.
As her hands clung to him, her wrapped his arms around her entirely, pulling her small frame against his as gently as he could with the passion pumping in his veins. He felt her nose bump against his neck and her lips took solace in his skin, sending shivers down his spine as he held her tighter. He was sure now that he would never let go. Eventually, he would have to get Isobel and Hestia, but right now he was going to hold her for as long as he could. “You don’t have to worry about that. You don’t have to worry about that ever again. Nothing is ever going to happen to you.”
There was something in his voice that destroyed any suspicion of emptiness in his words. He meant it, anything and everything he could do from this day forth to make sure she never had to suffer again, he would do it.
It wasn’t something easy to explain, the woman knew that where the first half of her life had occurred, if she would even call it a life, was not something normal. It wasn’t something everyone went through, something people accepted as just something that happened, no. Helena had been raised in a dark corner of the world, a hidden sector of the world so filthy and evil it shouldn’t have ever existed at all. As far as the rest of the world knew, it didn’t. There had been no newspaper coverage, no radio report, nothing to let the world know what occurred to the small blonde. Helena would prefer it that way, there was a secret peace in knowing that children could still grow up scared of not getting their dessert instead of what she had been through.
The blonde’s story was a tragic one, however when you looked at her and her mountains of daisy chains, eyes as bright as the sun and so blue the ocean was jealous, her tale became the definition of Beautifully Tragic. With every obstacle she overcame, it seemed she was always at odds with another, while the blonde was glad to be alive and in love with the world as she now knew it, she was pray for relief. Stuck in this never ending nightmare, stuck in every moment of torture and despair, Helena had developed another emotion while stuck in her own head. An understanding or a desire for fairness, she had thought that whatever happened happened, as long as it was beautiful it would be okay. Now as she was reliving her own personal hell, Helena sought fairness. Had it not been enough the first time? Had she not paid her dues?
It was a selfish thought, to her at least, wishing that the first time had been enough. The worst part about it all was that half of the time she was aware and the other half she wasn’t, either she knew she was stuck in a sick world she had made it out of, or she was right back in the sick would with no hope or recollection of what it was like to feel beauty on her skin. Sometimes she forgot the color of Isobel’s eyes or the way Hestia smelled, something she forgot the sweet somber of Elsa’s voice or how Jimmy’s voice had echoed understanding for her. Most recently, the blonde had held on to one very important moment, Hadrian’s smile. The blonde had been weak from blood loss and burning all over from the several acts of electrocution, when she had almost given up on remembering. Then that smile came into her head, the monsters’ actions dimmed in comparison, her attention on the way the smile looked so ethereal, like it was the most beautiful secret he had ever told and he had chosen to tell it to her.
Helena could sense in the way he moved and the smell of cigarettes that had come from him, Hadrian hadn’t allowed just anyone to see that smile. He had told Helena Faye that she was not just anyone, as she had sunk into her nightmares and nothing but darkness, Helena remembered that. His name escaping from her lips like the most innocent prayer, her mind becoming a whirlpool. Slowly lightness pooled into her nightmares, ripping the pain and sorrow and replacing them with a enchanting dream, fields of flowers where she picked away and asked the man questions about anything and everything she had ever wanted to know. Laughing at the jokes he simpled out for her or the sweet lullaby he had blessed her with. Her body warmed to the melody that escaped his lips and began waking up to the thought of just one more song.
Electrifying blue orbs flew open, her body churning up welcomed fire, her lips the hottest part of her body now. Reacting to escaping her own mind came second to the way his lips were pressed against her own, the sweet soft burn he allowed upon her, bringing her back to life with his lips. Her shaking hand reached up to touch the noir curls she adored, shaking with emotions and her reentry into the real world. Only one thought crossed her mind now.
Are you real?
Are you real?
Are you real…?
Hades wasn’t sure what he was expecting when he kissed her, maybe he wasn’t expecting anything at all. He just wanted to kiss her and had to before he ever lost his chance. He had to feel her soft skin and taste her sweet lips or he would surely die without ever living. He certainly wasn’t expecting her to open her eyes, those big, blue innocent eyes that searched all around his face as she tried to discover what was happening before her. He placed his hand over hers in his hair, dwarfing them in size, which only made him smile as he parted his lips from hers, wishing with everything that he did not have to.
“Helena,” his voice was only a whisper, because he didn’t want to scare her. Offering her a grand smile, he let out a joyous laugh when he was sure she was awake. Her bright blue eyes found his and focused on his and there was nothing else in the world. He saw an endless happiness in those eyes, none of the fears the girl had been tormented by, only the beauty in all the lives she touched. He let out a shaky breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding, and took her hand into both of his, kissing it.
He leaned back to give her space, but still lingered so closely that his next words came out as a whisper in her ear. “You’re alright now, you’re going to be alright.”
Turning to face him Jace titled her head, curious eyes taking him in. “I don’t have one yet. I’m nothing special,” she stated, plainly. It wasn’t like it mattered if some stranger knew she was nothing more than a freak with brain issues.
“Now that can’t be true.”
Lea could see what was happening was obviously crazy, but so perfect in an imperfect way. Two people hurting and needing a person who wasn’t there at the moment. She didn’t know if he knew it but he had helped her so much in these few minutes. She needed someone to hold her and even though it wasn’t Anton it was still something. “Thank you…” As the hug went on it finally ended, and she let go stepping back a bit. “I’m sorry for that, i’m sorry… I just needed a friend.”
He didn’t care that they were in the middle of the street at night, he would go on hugging her for as long as she needed it. When she thanked him, he gave her a smile and helped her up. “I understand. let me walk you back?’
“I have seen one but I don’t intend on trying or smoking one.”
“And nobody’s asking you to.”

He’d only spent a minuscule amount of time with the heaven-sent angel, but that had been more than enough for her to leave a lasting impression. She was everything good in the world to Hadrian, and seeing her fear had only made her more beautiful to him. She had been shielded from the world, but he didn’t know why or how and he would have killed to have known so much as her last name before he lost her forever. He hoped he hadn’t, yet, at least, she was holding on with a thin heartbeat he found every time he stopped by in the late hours of the night. The freakshow was silent, and Hades would sneak around to bring her flowers and wish her to get better soon.
All beauty seemed to fall from his life after she left. The flowers lost color and as for the gorgeous girls hitting on him, he could barely make out their face in a memory after they parted. The only thing that could make him smile was Lexi, of course, but only on her good days and he could not take priority over her life, she had to think of herself. There was Adrian as well and the promise of a baby, but his best friend was just as wrapped up in life as Hades.
So he spent most of his time here, his hand over hers, massive in comparison. He laid daisies by her bedside and made sure she was always warm, ever protecting of those who need it, he did everything he could for her, but there wasn’t much he could. Every flutter of an eyelid or twitch of a finger or fit from a nightmare sent Hades reeling with hope. She was still fighting. Tonight she was silent and she made no movement until it had scared Hades to the point where he had to leave before face this reality. But when his hand slipped form hers, his heart nearly stopped.
“Hades?” It was whispered, as more of a question than a call for help, but he was by her side in a minute. Could she see him? Was she waking up? He knew something was happening but with their hands together once more, the petite blonde fell silent. He tried to stop the hot tears from running down his face, wiping them away with the back of his hand. He held hers tightly as he pressed his forehead to hers. “You have to come back.” He could feel her weak breath on his lips, inches separating them, and he knew he should pull away but his lips brushed hers and he gave in. He pressed his mouth to her cold lips, and lifting her chin with his free hand.
As the girl steadied herself, patting her clothes gently as if to see if everything was in place. “ I… “ She started but shook her head, failing to find another excuse. Finally, she lifted her head up and smiled. “ It was nothing to do with you. I’m sorry I bumped into you. That is honest, I swear.”
Hades smiled lightly at her. It wasn’t totally her fault they’d bumped into each other, as he’d definitely played a minor role, but messing with her proved amusing. “Well good, because I wasn’t under the impression i did you any harm. I’m the one with the sore shoulder.”
