Walking on nails
Planar fasciitis :(
My slow, 2 km walk on the elliptical was not the most pleasant...
Running in the morning
3.5 km in 20 minutes. And uh, maybe 5 seconds?
It feels a little strange, given that I usually run at night and not in the morning when the sun is peeking up from the horizon.
One TV series worth
8 km in 47 minutes and 30 seconds!
I only ran instead of doing weights because I felt bad about stuffing my face with smoked salmon and avocado a little earlier...
Double trouble
2 sets, 10 reps each for my back. Consists of 15 different moves that I have no idea what they're called.
I think my back is getting better
A scant 10 minute yoga warm-up topped off with 5 km in 29 minutes, woot!
It's been one week
Last Saturday, I went for some dance event with my bad back. Wasn't the brightest of ideas since I spent the whole of Sunday recovering.
On Monday, I thought it would be a super swell idea to get someone to massage away the pain in my legs. Turns out, she only made it worse. I have the worst luck with foot reflexologists.
Today, I got around to doing my casual 2.5 km in 15 minutes. It's something.
Pushing it
2.5 km in 13 minutes and 15 seconds, woot!
I think I'm going to go pass out now.
Two-part comeback
The machine was still broken for the first 15 minute run that happened in the wee hours of the morning.
Strangely, it started working again in the evening and I'm back to my usual of 3.5 km in 20 minutes.
Perhaps I should dial it down a notch given that my back started to hurt again right after the run, sigh.
There's got to be a faster way to cure a slipped disc...
When measurement fails
A 30 minute "run" topped off with 10 minutes of yoga.
I'm on the road to back recovery!
Digital breakage
The panel on the elliptical broke.
I have no idea how far I ran, but I just ran for 22 minutes.
Time to open the machine up and jiggle the wires.
Slipped disc and all sorts of other shenanigans
Ugh, short hiatus. At least until I can get my back to stop hurting when I'm sitting down.
The ups and downs
3.5 km in 20 minutes and 30 seconds. Curses, lagging by a scant minute.
I seem to be sweating buckets more though...
Just a little short
7 km in 42 minutes.
I was aiming for the 9 km push... but it wasn't the greatest of ideas after a long hiatus.
The struggle is real
The base of my feet are still hurting, but I'm not exactly sure from what. So I'm doing my push ups instead.
I can do 10 half manly push ups!
Also, managed to complete my 3 minute aerial hoop choreography on Friday without my hands falling apart or falling off the hoop.
I guess I'm taking the day off to celebrate?
Just a little bit
3.5 km in 19 minutes and 30 seconds. I shaved off the 30 seconds, woohoo!
Although, I'm not sure I should be running given that the base of my feet hurt like I've been stomping on Lego all night long...
Running away from it all
3.5 km in 20 minutes. I'm still sore from Friday's workout.
Maybe I should've taken up martial arts. At least I can work off some aggression.
Back on track
5 km in 30 mins and 30 seconds, ugh. The price of slacking off.
