So DC has a bunch of underrated kid hero characters, like Aaron, Maya, and Zyx. Anyone else like the idea of Jon and Damian forming a team with them? Could at least be a fun au.

Fun fact Jon Kent and Damian Wayne have actually been ti the future, Jon met the legion of superheroes. Damian was instantly mind wiped though.

i won't tell you that i actually love how Jon stood up for Damian in that issue. (i love them so much you may give me a certification of officially crazy rn)

Fun fact Jason Todd was a red had in his original comic appearances, he happily died his hair black to match Dick Grayson.

ohhhh yesss, originally, that was their intention and i heard there was a printing error that made Jason's hair turn yellow haha. though, i think what you referenced is the depiction of him by Grant Morrison right? personally, i don't like his take on Jason and he's infamous within the community for not reading or re-reading the source material he references.

it'd be so cursed if Jason's hair remained red tbh. his black hair and white strokes are kind of iconic atp.

I agree that Maya Ducard and Zyx are underrated, cute, and deserve more attention. But i believe all of that applies to Aaron Langstrom too. He is the son of Kirk Langstrom (Man-bat) and Francine Langstrom (She-bat). Aaron doesn't loose his mind like the rest of his family, there isn't a split between Aaron and the bat. It's aways Aaron there isn't another. He does have bat instincts but they're much more toned for him so he doesn't loose control. Unfortunately he is permanently stuck in his bat form but he seems fine with that (and even got upset at his dad once over it. I guess Kirk forgot his kid has extremely good hearing). Aaron is adorable and also deserves more attention. Cute boy-bat. Oh and he likes to hanf out in the batcave chatting with Bruce or hanging with the bats and letting his instincts run a little (he never hurts anyone. Infact I think there is a moment where protects batman from his father's bat side after Kirk used the original serum again. If I remember correctly the Kirk was trying to protect his family, got desperate, and didn't have the improved serum).

ahh sorry for the late reply, I was dying so hard with my finals. yep i do know about Aaron, I don't think someone would mention him tho so this is a pleasant surprise. i personally adore his baby form, adorable if you ask me.

Have you heard of Davood Nassur aka sinbad and maya ducard aka Nobody. They deserve more attention. I think Davood would get along great with Connor Kent superboy.

for Sinbad, I actually only heard of him and don't really know much about him yet so i'll just believe you that he and Kon would get along well haha. but AHHHHH i love Maya!!! the interactions between her and Damian melted me a whole lot, especially when she comforts Damian "...but you gained a sister" with a warm and genuine hug, you literally can see his stiff and upright posture softens a little. the fact they're both kids and find comfort in each other ugh ugly cries.

so YES, for Maya's part i really do hope we will see more of her in the future! she definitely deserves more attention.

What do you think of Zyx from legion of superheroes?

To quote the anon that introduced me to Zyx. "Zyx is from the Legion of Superheroes cartoon: child's play: season 1 episode 7 and trails: season 2 episode 10, Also, child's play showed his magic has a timelimit so he isn't too overpowered. And he has a redemption in trials. Zyx is a Zeroxian red-haired kid with red irises/pupils, while the part that is usually white is instead is yellow. Plus, he had some cute scenes, at least in my opinion. Also, i think he looks best without the helmet. Anyways, while he is a bit of a brat with villianish tendencies, he does have a good heart, and after his redemption, he has an appreciation for life (especially animals. I could see him trying to adopt a bunch of pets similar to Damian Wayne.) i actually haven't watched LOS: Child's Play but after doing some research i think Zyx has a pretty cute design even though he's supposed to be the villain (lol). i love the freckles touch on his face too, it gives a childlike and nerdy kind of appearance. also i think you confused Clark with Jon bc i don't think Jon exists yet?

So I went to Fanexpo SF over this last weekend, and me and the wifey met Matt Santorelli, an inker at DC who worked on Adventures of Supersons. He was doing sketch cards and we are big Damijon fans so we asked if it was ok to get the two of them kissing. We came back the next con day and this man DELIVERED.

I almost cried in my Tim mask, I love it so much! We are so going to commission a cover sketch from him in the future when budget allows, this is so cute and amazing! He was the nicest, sweetest person ever! If hes ever at a con near you, go visit his table!!!!

Not Letting DamiJon Lose!

I'm not letting the DamiJon Nation lose without a fight, so here is my promo. Why vote DamiJon?

Childhood

These two practically grew up together as the Super Sons. They are each other's closest companions. Jon was the only person that stuck by Damian when no one else did. Even when Damian was about to kill KG Beast, Jon never turned against him. He was the only person that truly reached out to him just to make sure Damian was okay.

After this incident, Jon left the Legion of Super Heroes, hinting at the possibility that he sacrificed his membership for his friend. It could be for other reasons, but considering Saturn Girl kicked Damian out upon his arrival, I'd like to believe the Legion wasn't too fond of him.

2. "I know the sound of your heartbeat"

Even in the very comic where Jon Kent starts dating Jay, it's clear which boy he's much closer with. How can you not see sparks? These two were clearly made for each other both heart and soul!

3. Babysitting Lizzie

These two practically co-parent Lizzie Prince, the daughter of Wonder Woman in Tom King's run, from when she's five until she became the next Wonder Woman. They are still just as close and never change by the time Damian becomes Batman.

4. Even in Other Worlds

When Jon visits the Injustice Earth, he never gives up on Damian. No matter how evil Damian may become, Jon will always see the good in him. There is such a deep understanding these two have for each other.

5. The Promise

The one promise they made was to always protect each other. Damian was so genuine in that promise that he took off his mask. He hardly ever does this, even when making promises. It's clear Damian cares so much for Jon that he will abandon the Teen Titans to protect him.

Even going back to "I know the sound of your heartbeat," Jon said this when Damian was off the grid. This means Jon was the only nonparticipant of the Lazarus Tournament who knew where Damian was when he was off the grid. He's also the only person Damian has ever visited while off-grid, being that is when the Super Sons Special takes place.
