WELL. Okay so I’ve decided to leave this beautiful rp due to lack of time and due to being completely busy lately. Like I knew I would be busy but I didn’t expect it to be that time consuming until college started and i was like oh no. my classes are so spread out during the day and when i get home at like almost 8 i still have to eat bc starving and then do whatever hw is due so i have like 0 time to breathe. all my focus is on college and trying to join club things there and trying to do well bc hella expensive. so that is why i dont think i can juggle everything anymore and its sadly time for me to call it quits.

but ofc i love this rp and i will always love it w all my heart. ive been rping as hadley for like ever and its been so amusing to say the least. I WANNA THANK EVERYONE WHO MADE IT FUN (AKA EVERYONE IN THE RP) AND THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE (AKA MY FAB ADMINS) ily guys sm and if you want to keep in contact w me just message me and ill tell you my kik. also i wish newport the best of luck and hope to come back when things arent as hectic :))

Amber pulled the sweater she was wearing tighter to her body and walked quickly down the street. She was never one to take humiliation lightly and what had just happened was weighing on her heavily. She stopped once she reached a street corner that was a safe distance from her job and quickly wiped her tears away. “Breath, its no big deal. You’ve suffered worse” she told herself before trying to steady her shaky breaths. She held her breath then stepped back to continue walking before accidentally bumping into someone. “Watch it.” She said coldly.

Hadley was just walking home from her day at school when she suddenly collided with someone. “Oh I’m sorry, are you okay?” she apologized instantly while trying to regain her balance and then studied to see if the other person was alright. “Oh hey Amber,” Hadley greeted when she saw the familiar face, but then realized that the girl looked as if she had been crying. “Hey wait, what’s wrong?” she asked in a concerned tone, focusing her attention on Amber.

“I’m not complaining though, hugs are always nice, you know.” Jamie replied with a grin. “What a lovely person you are,” she said giggling. “You did such a great job taking care of it, it’ll probably get healed soon.” She shrugged at her roommate’s next question. The unexpected confession from a bit earlier somehow made her less hungry. “Not really. Yeah, but I got it for you because you always enjoy pizza.”

“Yeah, they’re like magic… Especially mine,” she added jokingly. “I know,” Hadley laughed, acting as if she just worked a miracle. Smiling at the response, she leaned back into the couch. “You’re so nice, I have no clue why," she grinned. "Okay what's your favorite food so when I come home I could get some too and we could have a whole buffet with it."

“Yes, I’m sure.” Jamie assured her roommate. “My heart is not shattered.” She added, offering the other girl a half smile. The sudden hug took her slightly by surprise, but she let her arms wrap around the other girl. “I don’t think I’ve ever received that many hugs from you,” she said playfully, burying her face in the girl’s shoulder. Jamie’s eyes followed Hadley as she made her way to the kitchen and came back with the pizza slices. She took her plate from the girl’s hands, “thanks.” She took a small bite from her pizza, only then realizing that she wasn’t even that hungry anymore, but took another small bite. “It’s okay now, thanks to you.”

Hadley nodded in response. “Okay, babe,” she let it go, hoping that what Jamie was telling her was true. “And shut up, it was only two. I’m pretty sure I’ve given you way more in the past,” she laughed. Hadley reached for her own plate, taking bites of her slice as she waited for her roommate’s response. “Aw how nice of you. I try my best to help the injured. Okay, I hope it gets healed soon. Also, you’re not hungry?” she asked, noticing how little the girl was eating. “You’re the one who got the pizza,” Hadley laughed as she pointed it out.

I guess I’m prefect for the job yay. Yes pizza. Or any other type of good food will do. Umm pineapple is wonderful. But also vodka sauce pizzas are great too.

Hadley looked at Jamie carefully, studying her features. “You sure?” she asked with a concerned tone in her voice. She bent down quickly and engulfed the girl in her arms again. “Sorry I just thought you could use another one,” Hadley explained before releasing her roommate out of her embrace. She gave her a grin and made her way over to their little kitchen area and placed a slice on a plate to put in the microwave and when it was done, she did the same for another slice. “Here you go,” she handed her a plate and a napkin before placing the other plate and two water bottles on their coffee table. “So how’s your knee?” she asked while getting herself situation back on the couch.

Ohhh okay, good thing you have me and my amazing expertise. If you’re into sushi, we could go to my goto place. Or any type of food you want, I feel like I’m pretty familiar with all the food places here.

“You don’t need to apologize.” Jamie told her roommate, struggling to understand why Hadley was the one apologizing about the messy situation while she was the one who put them in it. “I don’t know what way I hoped it’d go, honestly. I understand that you can’t, uh, decide or anything before speaking to Gus.” She said with a shrug. Jamie smiled lightly at the girl’s last sentence, which meant a lot to her, wrapping her arms around Hadley.

She rubbed Jamie’s back softly before pulling back. “Thank you,” she said with a sympathetic look on her face before reverting her eyes back down. “Um, anyway,” Hadley started to say, “are you okay?” She asked, wondering how her roommate was feeling about everything. “Also do you want pizza? I’ll heat some slices up for us in the microwave since it’s probably cold by now.” She offered as she proceeded to get up and stretch from her seat.

Jamie returned to her nervous habit of nibbling on her lower lip as Hadley finally brought her eyes up and made their eyes meet. She slowly nodded at her words, breaking their eye contact to look down at their hands as Hadley rubbed circles on her hand, an action in which she found slight comfort. Jamie wondered in what different way she made her roommate happy, but decided not to question the already confused girl. “Okay,” she replied, keeping her quiet tone, finding nothing better to say.

“I’m so sorry this is so messy,” Hadley apologized after the girl’s response, upset that she couldn’t be more reassuring about the whole situation. The truth is she didn’t know where everything would be headed at the moment, so she didn’t want to make any promises she couldn’t keep which made her feel very incompetent. “Thanks for being understanding about everything. And I’m sorry that this didn’t go the way you might’ve hoped, but I can guarantee you that no matter what happens our relationship isn’t going to diminish,” she pulled Jamie in for a hug to show her appreciation for her patience and tolerance with her.
