Yes, in college and university, he was the one who accepted all dares. It helped him finally feel free and to know what fun was. Luckily he never got into trouble because he was so charming and innocent acting.

She blinks, and light sparkles in the glitter at the corners of her eyes and carefully planted into her lashes. The corners of her mouth raise, and for a split second she bears a striking resemblance to a small buneary. Tiny and harmless.

"Mm, fun. Tell me, what can one hundred and one miligrams of caffeine do in the bloodstream of a one hundred and fifteen pound woman of Andiilan descent that years of intense caffeine and adrenaline usage cannot do. Or four very, very close calls with death?"

A beat. She's absentmindedly fixing her lipstick - something plum red and vaguely scented. Sharp nails click as her hands work.

"You're so easy to read. It's almost pathetic. You're going to have to try a little harder if you want to scare me."

"Ah, I do not want to scare you. I merely... Well. You are aware if you can read me so well, mm? Health is very important. Look after your body. They say it is a temple, right? A fleshy temple."

She turns, and something in her eyes sharpens horribly, seeming to sparkle like two faceted blood rubies in firelight for a few seconds.

"Why do you care." Iris effortlessly crushes the can between both hands, and tucks it into her bag. She seems to internally correct herself on some minor revelation.

"Correction. You don't care. That's pretty damn obvious. Why are you wasting my time telling me something I evidently already know and clearly do not care about."

"Oh how clever that you are actually aware that I truly do not care."

He could rant and rave to her - or anybody - about energy drinks and the more fruitful to even the lesser, duller effects that they have on the body. The heart palpitations. The racing thoughts. The calories and addiction. And yet why bother? Nearly everybody knows what comes with each fateful sip.

Yet it's always fun to remind people of their mortality and human nature. Mostly, anyway. He never knows what some people are like and what they can actually handle.

"I could spin a hearty little tale and say that I have your best interests in mind, if you like." There's a momentary peek to the bag and the exact the spot the can was discarded within. But it's a fleeing glance, one without much thought. "But I am not a liar. Yet...!"

He's smiling so gently.

"... You should look after your health, mm?"
