Listen. idgaf what the intention of the show is, but dressing little girls in stripper clothes and making them twerk is sexualizing children. And the actresses shouldn't have been put in that position, the 2 actresses I could find the age of were 12 and 14. TWELVE & FOURTEEN. I don't care if the 'true message' of the show is saying that 'this thing I'm showing' is wrong. Girls. Actually children. Were forced to wear those outfits and pose in that disgusting fucking poster. It's wrong.
You can't change my mind.
how come some people will acknowledge that bi has always been attraction to all genders, has always been attraction regardless of gender, and has always included trans and nonbinary people, but then refuse to admit that bi and pan are the same thing
Pan people are just trying to be special and different, it gets on my tits.
IMPORTANT.
Hey, I don’t know if you’ve heard of this new film Netflix is airing on September, but it’s… well, judge for yourselves.
Little girls don’t explore femininity, it’s forced upon them since the moment we are born. Little girls are not here to be consume as a fucking sex object. This is child pornography. There’s no other word for it. The total sexualization of ELEVEN yo girls and everything about it is pedophilic.
I should add that this film is rated as PG-18 and yet the main cast is made of little girls. The whole purpose of this film is for adult (pedophiles)’s consumption and entertainment.
It’s also telling that when Netflix finally decides to make a film about black little girls, the hypersexualization of said girls is the entire fucking point of the film as if it was something good and desirable.
There are a few petitions going around to remove the film from Netflix that you can look for in your own language and you can also send a message to Netflix through their own platform to ask for the removal of such film.
What
the
FUCK??!?!
And there are people defending it because BLACK WOMAN DIRECTOR
I’m literally speechless
I think it should also be noted that Netflix has since changed the description of the movie
“Free Spirited Dance Crew”
SHES AN ELEVEN YEAR OLD TWERKING
THIS IS STRAIGHT UP CHILD EXPLOITATION
AND AGAIN, WHY IS IT TV-MA?????
THEYRE LITERALLY CHILDREN
durr hurr REBEL AGAINST EBIL CONSERVATIVE FAMIRLY
1) MUSLIM woman director and writer, not black.
2) Netflix compleatly misscharacterized the whole thing probably because someone high up in the company is actually a pedo.
3) The director/writer has said that this movie is CRITIQUEING the exact thing Netflix is advertising it as. The movie is literally saying “sexualizing little girls is wrong”.
The more rage I see about this makes me even more invested in reviewing it when it airs.
The movie still apparently has crotchshots of minors, and theres still twerking in skimpy outfits, so theres still sexualisation of minors
“Apparently.”
Have you seen it? Do you know for sure? Do you know any context?
Context. That is the key here. We are ALL missing context. Look, if its what people think it is ill be out in front as angry as everyone else, more so considering how the director is trying to push it as criticism. But if it’s meant to and DOES show how wrong the sexualization of little girls is, then I think its got a right to exist.
No. The director took real eleven year olds and put them in those positions, for the sake of a message that could easily have been sent without puting actual minors in those positions. She knew what she was doing while those children didnt, so she should pay the price.

1.) Islam is not a race, it’s a RELIGION, numb nuts. Everyone with two working brain cells knows that. And yes, Black Muslims exist. Have you ever been to North Africa? It’s literally CRAWLING with them.
2.) The poster alone literally has children dancing in skimpy outfits, but go off I guess.
3.) It’s still sexualising children. You wouldn’t torture someone to show that it’s wrong. You wouldn’t rape someone to show that rape is wrong, and you wouldn’t murder someone to show that murder is wrong, so why the fuck would you sexualise little girls to “critique” the sexualisation of children.
4.) Why are you defending this disgusting shit which is obviously pedobait? How braindead are you? You need therapy or something.
People need to understand that this movie could still be trying to tell a message AND still be sexualizing children to help normalize pedophilia at the same time. In fact if you wanted to normalize pedo you would need to hide it under a message because it would look too obvious otherwise.
Yes I understand this movie is about a kid who lives with an abusive Muslim family and it’s loosely based off the director’s life and all that but the thing is it’s still showing the sexualization of 11 year old girls and it’s weaving a story that it’s normal for 11 year old girls to think of themselves as sexual beings.
Yes, it is normal for 11 year old girls to talk about boys and discuss things they may be learning in school at health class. I will even say at 11 it isn’t abnormal for girls to be thinking about dating and looking pretty.
However, they put all this up on the screen for everyone to watch and they are making it seem like THIS group of 11 yo’s experience with sexual expression is normal and acceptable and it ISN’T.
Worst of all the Netflix customer service has been responding to questions about this movie by saying:
“We cannot really comment on that but while we believe in creative freedom, at Netflix we respect all religions and their cultures, traditions, and values.”
Need I remind people what the road to hell is paved with?
Linked @galaxydyke post on my Instagram and got this from my ‘friend’
For all the people who constantly post how sad they are and are always attention seeking, I don't think you have truly felt overwhelmed, depressed or anxious because at the time that you are that last thing you would think about is post about it because you have other things on your mind and don't want people to ask how you are, you don't want to have to try and explain or put this on anyone else. You would never wish to put your thoughts into someone else head because they don't deserve it and you will never wish it on anyone and you lie about it. You feel unmotivated and you do. The want of do anything, you can't even bring yourself to even shower or change clothes, you cry for no reason and just feel sad and you can't ascape it. You try and get help and get better but you worru about telling anyone and that your not bad enough and you are taking the help away from someone who need someone it more and then you tell someone and get put on a waiting list, you wait for ages not wanted to keep pushing for it because you feel like you aren't important enough and feel lucky to even be on the waiting list. I'm still waiting and Have been for months, my mum only phoned again the other day because she could see I wasn't OK, I didn't even tell her. Its nice to be able to tell someone about it and the people who can just tell you aren't OK with put you have to tell them. I'm lucky to have a small amount of people like this but if you are just posting for attention stop and if not then I highly suggest you talk to a parent guardian or someone you can trust and can help because it won't get better on its own. ~ I know this seems out of nowhere but it's been on my mind for a while and it's nice to get it out and of you have no one, I will always be here for anyone who needs help.
