Thinking about how Team 10′s parents treated their teammates kids.
Ino was basically Chouza and Shikaku’s daughter. They were so weak to her. Everytime Chouza saw Ino when she was small he’d yell out in his big booming voice “PRINCESS” and Ino would laugh and go running to him and he’d swing her around in his arms and they were so cute. Shikaku loved her. He’d always asking her if she was keeping those boys in shape and telling her she’d grown into a fine, strong young lady. Yoshino loved Ino too. She thinks she’s so responsible and sociable and vivacious and she thinks she’s a great influence on the boys. Chouji’s mom was always worrying, that poor girl is a twig. She needs to eat and be gentle with herself!!!
Inoichi thought Shikamaru was a fine young man and he could see his potential very early on. He knew that Shikamaru would rival Shikaku with his brilliance and he was always quick to have a conversation or invite him out for a beer, or offer him dating advice. Ino’s mom thought he was a very nice, polite young man, always willing to help her out when she needed it. Chouza and his wife were always grateful for Shikamaru’s friendship with Chouji, though they worried about how he was always trying to shield his friends from burdens and doing things on his own.
Shikaku and Inoichi were always trying to encourage Chouji and give him confidence. They saw how his old man was around that age and they didn’t want Chouji to feel the same way. They were always offering him unwanted girl advice and they’d always treat him to something to eat when he was growing up. Ino’s mom loves Chouji. He is so good and enthusiastic about helping around the shop and he always helps her carry the groceries and on mother’s day he’ll buy three bouquets from the shop, one for his mother and one for yoshino and ino’s mom. Yoshino has such a soft spot for that boy, she will murder anyone who tries to put him down.
