Honestly I'm totally fine with any pronouns but i introduce myself with they/she and I identify under the demigirl gender label. I don't mind being called a woman sometimes, even occasionally using the term on myself, but I hate the term "girl" on me.

However, being born female and partially identifying with that, I call myself female, though pretty much only when i'm talking about the fear of SA experiences as a fem-presenting demigirl (not anything that happened to me but like "as a female I'm afraid to be out alone at night or alone and distracted etc"), or about periods (e.g: "i hate being female," or "I hate the female body,").

On a similar note, though, THEY/THEM IS THE PRIMARY PART OF MY PRONOUNS SET PLEASE USE IT. Mom, your daughter is also your child. Since I learned about the gender portion of the LGBTQ+ community (i was exposed to gays at birth), I finally knew I didn't have to just live with my thoughts about hating being a girl. LITERALLY BEEN QUEER SINCE FOURTH GRADE. Now that I've figured it out, I'm VERY open about it, and I just wish people would stop categorizing me as a girl. I only use the girls bathroom bc theres no other options. I don't want to be seen as a girl at all, only biologically female by like, doctors and my therapist and people who need that biological info to figure out what the fuck is wrong with me.

I'm not a girl. treat me like it.
