the FIRST thing clarke tells the god when she tells it about her pain is “feel me holding lexa while she dies” and you’ll never take that away from us. clarke has lost SO FUCKING MUCH in her short life. she just lost her daughter and even with that fresh in her mind, lexa dying in her arms is still the biggest pain clarke’s ever felt. worse that anything and everything. losing lexa was the biggest trauma of clarke’s life. that’s a hard, indisputable canon fact and i’m not fucking okay. not one bit

It really is such a beautiful moment for us, that after all the pain and suffering and harrassment we have faced over the years, on the night we finally get to be free of the show forever we got one last chance to see Lexa and to say goodbye to her and to our beautiful canon ship. And the best part of it all is that many of us have stuck around for 4 years after 307 now get to share this moment together, with our fellow Clexakru who helped us through it all. I’m so proud of you and everyone else in this fandom for all the years and all the memories. May Clexa live in our hearts forever, and may we now find peace.

Yep. The clexa Facebook groups I’m with are utterly exhausting me with how stupid people are being.

Like, yes, it’s annoying simply because it will make the blorkes insufferable. But otherwise does it affect us at all?? No. People are saying this is affecting how they view Clexa- why?? What the hell does this have to do with Clexa? The actors are not their characters.

And people going on about cheating- again, okay, what does this have to do with us? People do fucked up shit all the time but not that’s not our problem. Not my monkeys not my circus.

They are ACTORS. People need to stop being so overly invested in their lives.

I know this is so aggravating pretty much completely because of how blorkes are composed of a bunch of children that are now going to run around screaming that they win, but listen…do we not already know that? Do we not already know hetero ships are like Dudley Dursleys screaming that they don’t have enough presents when they already have an excess? I have been saying for YEARS I don’t understand why people say b.llarke won’t happen. What, just because jrot said it wouldn’t?? Has it not already been proven that he is a liar and that the show is not groundbreaking? Can people not see that he gets off on pissing off his fans and dragging stuff out, baiting them to keep them around? The male and female leads almost always get together, what makes another shitty cw show any different? Hetero endgame is boring and predictable. Predictable is the word here, folks. Of course blorke will probably happen. It always happens and yes, it is boring and yet another hetero ship to throw into the gigantic pile but it doesn’t affect me, us, or clexa in any way whatsoever. What Clexa had was beautiful and iconic. We’ve done so much good, raised so much for charity, sparked conversations that have forever affected change in terms of LGBT rep and the Bury Your Gays trope. We have a beautiful love story we will carry with us forever that’s iconic af and people will remember it years and years from now. No one will care about the flop or blorke because they’re just another boring shitfest. But Clexa? Clexa is eternal.

People need to remember that at the end of the day they’re just actors living their lives. In how many shows do the hetero leads end up together? They are not the first coworkers on that show they’ve been with, either. Happens all the time.

We take a minute to process our shock and irritation, then we go back to rationality and the knowledge that they are actors and their personal lives have nothing to do with us.
