Attention Roleplayers:
With all the negativity that has been floating around in the roleplay community lately, I feel the need to make post. No this isn’t any of my roleplay accounts, but it is best that I put it on my personal, wouldn’t want to be called out for being ‘too’ ooc.
Which brings me to my first point, ooc posts. You go on to any one roleplaying blog, and you’ll find about a handful of ooc posts written. Maybe more, maybe less, who cares. If you are having fun, why does it matter how in character you are at any given time. If you are happy with how your blog is and how you run it, why does anyone else’s opinion matter? It’s like others can’t be happy until they tear down everyone else and point out ever little thing they don’t like about them.
So someone posts an ooc post, I bet you right now that if you go on your own roleplaying blog (if you even have one), you’ll find that you have made them too. Get off everyone’s dick about it, okay?
My second point of this post is the popularity contest that tumblr roleplaying has decided to throw at every roleplaying fandom. Why the hell are we trying to pick favorites? Isn’t this supposed to be a hobby, something for fun? No one person is any better than the other. We all have different writing styles, different portrayals, different settings, ect.
No two roleplayers will be the same, no matter if they play the same character or not. Sure you’ll have the ones you favor more, but that doesn’t mean that the others aren’t good too. Quit making everyone else feel so inadequate.
Then there is the anon hate. This doesn’t just happen to roleplaying blogs, I know, but roleplayers suffer from a vast amount of hate. I’m 99% sure that it comes from other roleplayers as well that are too chicken to tell the person what they feel to their face. It’s not cute, it isn’t funny. It’s hurtful and it needs to end.
Let’s stop this, all of this. We aren’t 5 year olds, we aren’t fighting for the top spot; we are here to have fun and make friends.
The sooner everyone realizes that, the better.

Hype was walking through Shibuya this morning. Her typical attire was on, headphones set, stuffed cat in arms, bag slung over her shoulder. Navigating through her music player, she put on Runaway, put the music player in her skirt pocket, and began to make her daily walk around Shibuya.
Everything was going as normal until a little white...er, thing, collided with her face just as she was walking on one of the park lawns.
"Ahhh-!!!" shocked, Hype quickly fumbled for her bag's zipper. Opening it - blindly - she stuffed her stuffed cat inside before zipping it back up. Her free hands reached up and attempted to remove the thing off her face, but it had attached quite tightly.
She could hear footsteps approaching, and a set of slender digits assisted her in prying off the white mass on her face. When it was finally off, Hype noticed it looked like a toy...but that's wouldn't explain why it was wriggling and had a glowing red ball on top of its head.
"Uhm...is this yours?" she asked the woman who had helped her. She looked her over. Pink hair wasn't pretty far-fetched, seeing as there were cosplayers in Shibuya, but the clothes...she certainly hadn't seen one like it. After all, you don't exactly have your sides fully exposed to the hip here in Shibuya.

“…Hello there.” the girl takes off her headphones and slings them around her neck, looking curiously at the boy in front of her. His hair was like hers, slightly paler in comparison, his violet eyes striking, lips curled up mysteriously.
“Can I help you?” she lets out, her stuffed cat slightly flopping to the side as she shifts.
Joshua regarded the female with mild curiosity- there were few inhabitants of Shibuya he wasn’t familiar with, but he supposed he hadn’t been exactly on top of things as of recently, either.
He smiled politely at the brunette, flicking blonde curls out of his eyes, “And who would you happen to be?”
"They tell me my name is Hype...Hype-chan." the girl had no idea what her real name was. Actually, she didn't know much about herself. Memories faded and blurred together, making it impossible to see clearly. She only knew she carried a stuffed cat, was around 15 - even though she didn't know her age, wore a cute red uniform, had red headphones, and that her name was apparently Hype - for now.
"How about you? What's your name?"

Hello there! This is a RP account for the girl shown in the secret ending for solo remix. She is named "Hype" or "Hype-chan" for now. As only her appearance is known, my RP-ing of her is going to be solely based on how I think she’d act. Until SE releases more on this girl, there will be no icons, no mentions of any relevant basic info, possibly inacurate portrayal due to lack of info, etc. If you have played Ib, and compare Ib to this girl, they are heavily similar in appearance. So because of this I’ll have her sorta Ib-esque. Just until we get more info. c: I hope to get along with everyone~! I track the tag haipuchan. I do not own Hype nor anything that is not of my creation posted here - which is basically anything reblogged that is not ooc or RP text from me.
