I've been really busy with life and generally not been okay for a bit, but mostly I just felt deeply disillusioned since there have been no reliable news about hyx being released. something came out in about march/april I believe about tencent "warming up" for release? but obviously that was also a hoax since it's august 2023 and still nothing.

at this point I'm simply hoping someone from inside tencent will release it under the table so that we can all enjoy the hard work all actors put into it. fck the censorship and all hail the danmei \O/

sorry if i'm not around much, hope I'll be back if hyx ever comes out of the microwave

I finished reading the novel 二哈和他的白猫师尊 (means ‘Dumb Husky and His White Cat Master/ shizun’) back in early April and felt like sketching master Chu WanNing (Chaste Tree Night-Serenity) and his divine weapons: Jiu Ge (The Nine Songs), Huai Sha (Embracing Sand), and Tian Wen (Heavenly Questions). *weapons are named after the works of famous Chinese poet Qu Yuan. 

*Novel title sounds silly but the story is serious, dramatic, and rated ‘highly heart-wrenching’ by many of its readers. OvOlll

To celebrate this wondeful community, I would like to give away one copy of the first volume of 2ha in Chinese. The version contains: the Xia Sini and Mo Ran box, the book volume, postcards of characters, a small stand of Chu Wanning, a Chu Wanning with Tianwen poster, a poster for the cover illustration, two mini comics and Xue Meng’s letter. Here are the pictures I took of mine for reference (password is the name of Chu Wanning’s weapon in lowercase).

In light of recent rumours about censorship becoming stricter around Chinese LA, Mageline (seems to be a broadcasting company, but I could be wrong) posted on their weibo:

In 2021, Mageline will continue to make great efforts to broadcast big dramas. In the beginning of the year, stay tuned for the double male lead drama "Haoyixing", starring Chen Feiyu and Luo Yunxi. The annual advertising and marketing investment amounts to hundreds of millions of yuan. How many brands can do it? (x)

Spin-off announcement for Immortality

Filming has started for a Haoyixing spin-off. The feature's title is "Dragon City" (龙城 lóngchéng, Xue Meng's sword's name) and is supposed to focus on Xue Meng and Mei Hanxue.

The news comes after Peilun Quan, who acts in the franchise as Mei Hanxue, posted earlier yesterday a picture of himself in Mei Hanxue attire.
