've been taking a Costume Design Class, and here were just the images from the first project of the semester -- designs for the show 'Next to Normal'. 

Not very good, but definitely some progress!

Since this is my art blog... I figured maybe I should post some of my sewing stuff on here too! Here is a cute Ipad case I made for my roommate's birthday! <3

It's quilted so it's actually very thick and secure, is lined on the inside and has a hidden pocket in the inside of the flap for money, phones, or pencils/pens/stylus', whatever! Also, it has a little buttonhole opening on the side to slip your headphones in and out of. ^_^

I am thinking about maybe selling more cases like this... I'm curious; would anyone be interested? If so, how much would you pay?

Long time no see!

Here's a little image I did earlier in the semester. Experimenting with different techniques! <3

Last Lithography assignment of the semester. This time, taking the image of a deer I studied, I wanted to evoke emotion, and give it a feeling of almost suffocation  A little dark, but I liked the result. 

I also have a reverse print with the ribbons and eye in red, and the background in purple, but I like the red bg more.

Another attempt at mixing humans and animals, this time with fish! Messed around with photolitho plates and pronto plates this time. Still tricky, but at least reacting a little better...

Another Litho assignment, this time, Photo Litho! Wanted to juxtapose a human and an animal and encompass the same emotion. Don't really like how it turned out, but... I finished it! I definitely had some trouble with the photo litho plates burning the image in correctly...

Here's a stone Lithography print I did. It was the first assignment of my Litho class, but I was having trouble with printing, and as a result I over inked (which the stone soaked up).
