I have other duties, than coralling your power struggles and pettiness. Although - she just hears Tremblay start to stumble into an explanation as she walks away - I would like to hear him talk his way out of that one.

i love the music when tedesco shows up.

it is giving diabolical tension, it's giving pair dancing, it is giving competitive weaving steps, it's giving tango. it's so fun. it's the most dynamic character motif and it adds a lot to the atmosphere.

really cements his place in lawerence's dynamics as the person who most challenges him, with whom he exists in a delicate balance of push and pull, standing his ground or being a pushover. he can be grating and he can be loud and he can try to sweep you in his tune; so there's no choice but to participate.

their good ending is so fitting for the way they work too.

like yes call up his worstie every weekend to complain his ear off about stupid archeological protocols and slow conservation efforts and somehow having someone on the other end making noises and replying and teasing and testing him that will save his soul little by little. that's literally what complaining to the worstie is like.
