He was extremely aware that she could kick his ass in just about anything, and he enjoyed it. Adrian would always set himself up for that. “Good to know you’re using me for my hot bod.” He joked back with her, wanting to hear her laugh again. He all but cackled as she cursed at him, knowing that his plan had succeeded. He pretended to run a little bit away from her, but she caught him just as he hit the side of the bed. “I know and I love you even more for it.” He smiled, putting his hands on hers. He turned around in her arms and kissed her forehead. An almost evil grin appeared and he gripped her tighter before he moved her onto her back on the bed, hovering over her. “Hi.” 

“Well why else would I be with you?” A teasing smile crossed Hallie’s features as she responded back to him. It was always how their relationship worked. They’d play around with one another, and act as though they didn’t care, when really they cared so much. Hallie’s world revolved around Adrian and he was very much aware of it. “You love me!? This is news to me.” She laughed as she fell backward onto the bed and looked up at him. “Hi, loser.” Hallie then wrapped both her arms around him, and pulled him in closer as if she was about to kiss him. However, after hanging there for a second, Hallie then pushed Adrian up ward and off her. “Don’t you think this changes anything. You wanted to go check on Nina, and so that’s what we are going to do!”

adrianroth:

“It’s not the time to be aggressive. It’s absolutely the time to be a tease though.” He mumbled quietly, knowing she could hear the thick smirk through his voice. It was an almost constant back and forth. She teased him mercilessly, and he tried his best to reciprocate, but somehow she did always seem to win that battle. “You can get into my pants anytime.” So maybe it had been a very lame joke, but that was the kind of guy he was. A broad grin shone through as he could tell she was starting to give in. Then she kissed him, and he couldn’t rid the smile off his face as he kissed her back. After a few moments, he pulled back and started to walk out the door. “Maybe we need to check on her.” It was his way of trying to tease her even more, though he was dying to kiss her and touch her. 

“You know if you tease me, then I’ll just tease you back and then you lose. Why do you set yourself up like that?” It wasn’t unknown that Hallie undoubtedly had more hold over Adrian than he did over her. Especially when it came to the physical aspect of their relationship. That wasn’t to say he couldn’t tease, because he most certainly could, but Hallie was always a step above him in that department. “I would hope so, considering we’re sort of dating. I probably wouldn’t stick around if I wasn’t limited on getting into your parents.” Though she was one hundred percent joking with that. A smile then crossed her features and she worked her hands through Adrian’s hair as he returned the kiss. However, Hallie was then caught off guard by their separation and gasped the moment he walked away. “You little fucker!” Pushing herself off the counter, Hallie then chased after Adrian. Her arms linking around his waist the moment she was in reach, while the side of her head relaxed against his back. "I hate you, you know that?”

“Aggressive.” He growled the word back at her, playfully biting against her neck again. He was perfectly aware what kind of tastes she had and he tried his best to appease her in that capacity. He laughed quietly against her skin, loving that they were able to be so free and so relaxed with each other. “I’m high maintenance, what can I say?” He blew out a breath and pouted, staring at her with sad eyes. “Why do we have to be adults? Is Nina already in bed?” He whined quietly and leaned forward against her neck again. “I just wanna have sex.” 

“Yes, something you’re not being right now. In fact, you’re being a massive tease.” But that was how it was with them. Teasing made it better. Made things more interesting and enticing. Which was why it was never boring between them. “Isn’t it supposed to be the girl who is high maintenance? Guess I really do wearing the pants,” she mused, letting out a slight laugh. “She is in bed, yes. But...” Feeling him move toward her neck once more, Hallie paused. “You are a terrible, terrible influence, Mr. Roth.” Giving him, Hallie then grabbed hold of Adrian, moving his head up just a bit before she pressed her lips to his.

“Are you telling me I need to be a bit more careful with your clothes and delicates?” He teased, bringing her to close the very small gap between them. Adrian kissed slowly against her neck, trying not to smile like a buffoon as she kept speaking. “I’m going to check it tomorrow and it better be there or else I’m going to be very disappointed with you.” His head pulled back and he gave her a look. “Are you saying that this would be a bad thing?”

“No no! By all means, rip it off. I personally enjoy when you’re a bit more.. aggressive.” His lips pressing down to her skin caused Hallie to drop a single arm, using it to hold herself up as she titled back even more. “Oh I have a time limit now? You’re so demanding, Adrian.” She giggled, before looking up the moment she felt him move away. “Not at all. I’ve never been opposed to sex before, but we do have a child to make sure goes to bed and a downstairs to clean. You know.. adult things.”

“You could buy things in red…like perhaps lingerie?” Adrian would’ve given her an eyebrow waggle had he not been otherwise preoccupied with her neck. His hands moved up and down her back slowly as he bit down on the soft skin of her throat. “Saved me. My hero.” He mumbled with another low laugh. He smoothed his tongue over the bite mark and stepped just a little closer. “Clearly you were the inspiration for that Sexy and I Know It song.”

“There’s no point for that either, you’re just gonna rip it off.” Not that she wasn’t going to do it though. They were an incredibly physical couple and she’d do that for him. “Mmm, hero — I like the sound of that.” She whispered as her dark hues slowly shut and she leaned back just a bit. “That’s going to be my new Instragram description from now on.” Hallie then let out a small breath, reacting to the feeling of his tongue upon her skin. “You know, if you keep this up we’ll end up having bathroom counter sex in about two seconds.”

“Well, okay! I guess you’ll never know what my favorite color is. What an absolute tragedy, Parker.” He nuzzled her neck slowly, still grinning wildly. “You’ve just destroyed my hopes and dreams of becoming a wedding planner, I hope you can sleep at night.” A smothered chuckle breathed against her neck as he tightened his arms around her waist. “You and ugly do not belong in the same sentence, and you know it. Extremely sexy, then and now.” 

“First off, what the fuck would I even do with that information? It doesn’t even matter. Second, it’s red.” Hallie laughed once against and proceeded to link her arms around Adrian. “Adrian Roth, Wedding Planner,” she said, gesturing her hand across the air in a line, as if she was reading the words in front of her. “Yeah see, I saved you from that life. That doesn’t even sound good.. so I helped. You should be grateful you have such a wonderful girlfriend like me, honestly.” As his breath then touched down to her neck, Hallie arched her back slightly, moving in closer to hm. “Damn straight!”

“Would that not be the case?” Adrian stared at her, fighting back the laughter, but he was honestly curious if she did think that way. Absent-mindedly, his fingers pressed against her lower back keeping that contact alive. “Bummer, there goes my genius wedding design plans. Camo and plaid everything.” He nearly choked on his laugh at her final words. “Barely anyone can guess anyway. You look real good for having given birth.” He growled the last words playfully, biting at her jawline.

“No! Of course not! We are supposed to be one of those couples who never spends time together and knows nothing about the other.” At her words, Hallie offered a small laugh and wrapped both legs around him—going against what she was saying. “Okay normally I wouldn’t care what the wedding was like, but fuck. I care if it looked like that. Ya fucking crazy,” she replied, shaking her head. “Do I? Mmm, and here I thought you’d think I got ugly and fat and gross. You know, like most women do after they have a child.” Biting on her lip, Hallie then tilted her head to the side, trying not to giggle at him mouth tickling her.

“I should hope so by now.” Adrian’s brows lifted as she pulled him closer, not that he wanted to move anyway. He let out a laugh on accident and gave her a look. “That’s a shame. I don’t think white will go with my camo tux.” Obviously joking, he leaned forward to rest his chin on her shoulder. “I’m sure everyone’ll buy the virgin story. Nina who?”

“Oh what, you think just because we have a kid and are engaged that you know me!? Doesn’t work that way.” She mused, crinkling her nose and smirking as the words fumbled from her lips. “You wear a camo tux and I won’t walk down the aisle!” Though, that was a damn lie. She didn’t care what he wore, honestly. “We can sell her on the black market.. no one will even know we had a baby.”

Adrian couldn’t help the smile that appeared at her joke. “Oh yeah, you know blood of cows, upside down crosses, eye of newt, all that good ritual type goodness.” He laughed lowly and wrapped his arms tightly around her, holding himself to her body. He reached up and twirled a strand of her hair around his finger, not having any care in the world other than he wanted to stay this close to her forever.

“Oh, my favorite. Especially the blood of cows. You know me so well, Mr. Roth.” A laugh fell from her lips, and she quickly moved in closer, wrapping both legs around him, so he couldn’t move. “We’ll have a real wedding one day. I don’t know when, but some time soon. I promise. And I’ll even wear white. Like a good girl who’s never had sex before in her entire life.”

Pulling his head back to stare at her, Adrian took a slow breath. It seemed too poignant a conversation to not look at her while she was saying it. His hand lifted and he rested his palm against the side of her neck while his thumb brushed her jaw. “I know, Hal.” He gave her a smile and just to reassure her, he leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to her own lips. “Always.” He agreed as he pulled back. “I just want to bind myself to you in every way possible. If that means legally, then hell yeah.” 

As he moved back, Hallie quickly found his eyes with her own. Being sentimental wasn’t really her thing, but she would be if it meant he felt assured about their relationship. A smile then ran across her features, and she rubbed her head into the feeling of his touch before she felt his lips capture her own. That was when she pulled him in even closer, if that was even possible at this point, and kissed back. “Bind yourself, huh?” She teased, letting go of his lips. “Sounds like some weird ritual you wanna do.”

“I’ll let you do all the looking, babe.” More than willing to let himself be pulled forward by her legs, he rested his body against hers. Adrian buried his face in her neck to listen to her speak, eyes closing slowly. “Of course you do. I asked you to marry me. Now it’s up to you to decide if you want to marry me for real.” His lips skated over her skin briefly, ghosting kisses as he answered her. “I will want you always. Do you want to be my wife? Is that something you want still?”

“You are such a dork.” Hallie shook her head at the man and laughed. It was such a rarity for them to be like this nowadays. Given they were in over their head with how busy they were, so she quite enjoyed it. “Of course I want to.” She had never really pictured herself as the marrying type, but with him, it was different. “You’re crazy if you think it’s not something I want still. If I didn’t want this I wouldn’t stick around and you know it. It’s always been you and me, Ade. And it’s going to stay that way.”

“Hmmmmmm a shorty. Alright.” Adrian smiled down at her, letting the obvious joke slide over him. His hands moved to her hips as he backed her up into the counter, eyes never leaving her face as they spoke. He adored moments like this with her. Where they bantered back and forth and did nothing but enjoy each other’s company. “I’ll do what I can about the slowing down the aging, and you decide on the marriage part.” He rested his chin against her shoulder and smiled to himself.  

“You are.. I mean, look at you.” The female mused, peering up at the blonde with a devious smirk resting upon her features. After a brief moment, she then pulled herself up and sat down on the counter, using her legs to then bring Adrian in closer to her. “I have to decide on the marriage part? You know I’m not good at decision. Though I mean, I’m already wearing this damn rock on my finger, I feel like marriage is what is supposed to come next. If you still wanted of course.”

“Of course you would have. It’s not like I have…oh..about five inches on you?” His brow lifted at her and his eyes rolled, but he still smiled genuinely. It was hard not to smile in her presence. His hands skimmed down her arms as he watched her make fun of his words. “I combined the terms. Sugar daddy and douche. Ergo, sugar douche. That’s rude, by the way. I’m not hot enough to still be a trophy husband?”

“Don’t exaggerate! You know it’s only like.. two. Face it, babe, you’re a shorty.” Though that was a definite lie and they both knew it. “Sugar douche.. wow.” She laughed, shaking her head at him as she back into the counter of the bathroom. “Well I mean, you gotta be my husband first, before I could even consider using that term. Might want to find ways to slow down the whole aging process though.. so you earn the title.”

“Okay, I will rephrase. The only spice in my life I want is from you and in the bedroom.” Adrian almost ended that sentence with a wink, but decided against it. Too much. He laughed with her and watched as she pretended to try to pick him up. “Not working there?” He quipped, trying to get the smirk off of his face. He pulled her back up to him and held her close, brushing his fingers down her neck. “Well see now if I was a sugar douche, I would take care of you financially and you take care of me every way otherwise.”

“Well where is the fun in that!?” Hallie teased, crinkling her nose up at the man as she struggled to pick him up. Clearly this wasn’t going too well — but Adrian had quickly put an end to it the moment he pulled her back to him. “Hey! If you had given me like 5 more minutes, I probably would’ve been able to do it.” She said, laughing. “Wait wait wait... Can we back up a bit and focus on the fact that you just used the term... sugar douche? God, you really are getting old. I’m going to have to start looking for someone younger..”

Take care of me, baby.” He let himself be pulled forward and soon enough, buried his face in her neck. “At least you’re honest. But yeah, I’ll be your sugar daddy.” 

“A bland year? You’re dating me, there’s not a chance in hell it’s going to be bland.” Maybe there would be no earth quake, but it certainly wasn’t going to be bland. It never was with them two. “Mmm, not yet though. —Fine, fine, let’s get you to bed.” She laughed, leaning down to take one of his legs as she attempted to pick him up. “Oh yeah? Well, then I shouldn’t be the one taking care of you right now!”
