How to become who you desired to be despite the circustances and environment around you ?

hmmm good question anon !!! i’m not sure if this is in terms of shifting ( since i am a shifting account , duh ) or just in general of ur identity . i’m guessing the latter since U didn’t mention shifting or anything in specific , so shoot me another ask if i’m wrong && u need more clarification !! but i’m 100% positive that what i’m going to say right now will help in the long run with either topics .

okay , so . how do you become your desired identity despite the circumstances that are thrown at you . first of all , my favorite thing to talk about ! the state of having / becoming . every thing i’ve ever manifested is because i became the person who has it . sometimes even unintentionally . for my house , i became the person who has it because i started figuring out how to decorate my room for the specific house i wanted . before we even found that house , i knew i wanted to move so i’d always tell this one girl i wasn’t super close with that i was moving . and there !! manifestation is just a big game of pretend until your surroundings get sick of it and reflect what you want to you , instantly . ( when i say unintentionally manifest something by “ becoming “ the person who has it , i mean by the fact that i’d lowkey forget what i wanted since why would i dwell upon something i already have )

so basically , ask yourself how would you act if you already had that desire . and then act like it ! pretend to , at least . after U do so , your manifestation comes to you instantly .

your circumstances and environment do not matter when it comes to manifesting . i know it’s hard to hear because almost everyone claims this and then your thoughts say otherwise , but it’s true ! you don’t have to ignore it . you don’t have to go out of your way to forget it . you can acknowledge what’s happening around you , but always tell yourself it doesn’t matter because you already have what you want . time doesn’t matter either in manifestation because would you be worried about timing if you already had your desire ?? no !

　**　hi !!!! i love giving purse hauls to my friends and random people who ask me for it , so i'm just as happy to document it for you . let's see . . . so i have my work purse , which i call the intern purse because well , it's living this life with me . as a responsible && organized intern , i have a reputation to uphold as the girl who has her shit together in the workplace . so i have this brown miu miu bag that i purchased when i first got my paycheck !!! so thank you to my wonderful internship !!! my paycheck and money i've had saved for " important " things in life , which a good bag deserves splurging on .

　　( first things you see , )　the first things you see when i open the main pocket of this bag are . . . drumroll please . . . my assortment of lippies . i've got my rhode lip peptide lip tints , my glossier lip balm dot coms , && random lip liners i grab before i leave my apartment . today i've got my salty tan lip tint aaand colada lip tints , my espresso lip balm dot com , and nyx lip liners . i can never find the perfect shades , so i just buy a lot of them ! i can't pick one unfortunately . . . you'll never see me without something on my lips though ! even when i'm eating , since i have such a good lip stain going , but that's in one of the pockets . my lippes are always the first things i can reach when i open my bag just incase i need to reapply on the go .

　so i've noticed on shiftblr where people have been saying that they don't feel seen in the community in terms of shifting advice . like for the people who can't stay focused on one affirmation , or have zero patience ( me too girl ) , or even the ones who are too lazy and prefer they rather do nothing than something . this is also a love letter for the baby shifters who are just finding or being reintroduced to shifting realities / manifestation . when i found this concept , it was so confusing . like , i didn't know what was happening except the fact that i wanted it . and since a very young age , let me tell you i always get what i want no matter what . we all want to shift for many reasons , and we all deserve it . well . anyways . i hope i covered many topics on this post regarding ways to shift , but if i haven't and you have a tip or trick or something in between to offer to the community , please reblog this post with what you would've wanted to hear when you were starting off as a shifter !!!

　everything after the ' read me ' is super long , so i divided it everything up in sections according to what appeals to you . i do recommend reading through every single one , but of course you don't have to or don't have to do it at once . this post can also help you with piecing your perfect method together as well , so use it to your own best !!!

　 　 nervous system oriented ׄ 𓈒 ᯇ 　 🧷　 : ୧

　— subliminals . 　　let's start off easy . subliminals !! if you're unaware of what subliminals are , they're basically audio with repetitive affirmations in it . it could be one affirmation being looped , or five and over being looped . it depends . some have songs playing over them or others have water sounds . they're very diverse , and there are many accounts out there on youtube and spotify that post such things . of course you can also make your own subliminals with your own unique affirmations , and there are many ways to do so .

　　personal antidote : i personally did not listen to subliminals as much when i started off . i still don't when it comes to shifting . but as of recently , i've been listening to other kind of subliminals like appearance , dream life , etc etc . i like to be consistent with them , but of course i don't have to be and nothing will happen if i stop listening for a day or two .

　　resources : i heard slade is a good subliminal maker !! not so sure of others , so if anyone has recommendations please do comment or something !!!!! also if anyone wants to see the subliminals i've been using , shoot me an ask !!!

　　if you : live a busy life , try this out !

　— ( guided ) mediation / breath work . 　　meditating and or breath work can be used on it's own to shift or you can incorporate it into your own method . i do breath work alongside other things to shift realities , but other people may go about it differently . there are many guided meditations on youtube that you can follow , or even normal meditations that aren't associated with shifting to ease your mind . people often recommend to do this because it relaxes you and helps you calm your nervous system down . do you need to do this ? no . i don't meditate because i honestly can't sit still sometimes , but that's a problem that others might not relate to . i also don't have the patience for mediating , i wish i did ! anyways , there are 5 minute meditations and even one hour ones that you can look for . whatever piques your interest . and then there's breath work , which is something i do like to do . in my opinion , breath work isn't something you need to do with a routine or have to sit still for . you can be on the move and still do breath work . i like the one where you inhale for four , hold for four , and exhale for four . breath work is when you focus on your breath , so this helps you ignore your random thoughts that pop up when you don't need it . another way to relax and calm your nervous system !

　　personal antidote : like i mentioned , i prefer the breath work aspect and honestly do it almost every night . it helps me calm me down , like said above , and also helps me focus on one thing and not ten million random thoughts , like having an argument with some random guy i know . sometimes i wander away from my breath even if i'm still counting , and with that i gently redirect my thoughts instead of forcing it back . don't get me started on meditation though .

　　if you : need to relax , calm your nervous system , like to sit still , try this out !

　— eft tapping . 　　okay . i don't know much about eft tapping except some visuals i saw on pinterest . but eft tapping is basically lightly tapping on specific meridian spots while focusing on something that is stressing you out to help calm your nervous system . how did i manage to explain all that ? paraphrased from google i fear . but anyways , there's like spots on your face and body that you can lightly tap with your fingertips to calm your nervous system . i saw someone manfiest things instead of focusing on what's stressing you out since their nervous system was already calm by doing this , so it only made sense to manifest . here's a link to an image on pinterest where it shows the eft tapping spots + how to do it !!!

　— law of assumption . 　　there's two laws when it comes to manifesting . or at least those are the ones i know of . there's law of attraction , which i don't have much knowledge about , and then law of assumption . law of assumption is essentially your assumptions becoming your reality . you can manifest many things with these , even a life 180 . whatever you assume to be true is reflected into your surroundings . you want something , you have it , and boom you got it . that's law of assumption in a nutshell . now when people say on tiktok or even tumblr that your negative thoughts will manifest , so think happy thoughts and to persist , i don't really agree with them . maybe i manifested this for myself , but whenever i get negative thoughts or i started worrying about something i know i have ( in loa terms ) , i still get it . so no , your negative thoughts will not harden into your reality . nothing is stopping you from getting what you want , okay ???

　　personal antidote : i have many many many personal experiences that i could share with this one , but the one i usually recall is from ninth grade , aka four years ago . so i had this huge crush on this stupid fucking guy in 8th grade , and allllll summer i just wanted to have a class with him . i wasn't aware of manifestation at that age , honestly i just learned about it like last year , but what i was doing was law of assumption without me realizing it . all summer i just wanted to be in a class with him . but did i ever get a class with him that year ?? no . but did i end up being in a class with him senior year ?? unfortunately . i also wanted to talk to him , like have his number or snap or something . i don't know , i just wanted to make a friend more than a boyfriend because i can not process the idea of dating someone . did i ever end up getting his number that year ?? no . but did i get it senior year ?? unfortunately .

　— void state . 　　many people claim the void state to be different for them . for me , it's a deep meditative state in which i can hone into my thoughts and really focus since i am thinking of random shit 25 / 8 . many people access the void state to get away from their intrusive thoughts regarding their manifestations / shifting , or like me , focus . it's a different experience for everyone , just like everyone's shifting journey . there's also many many ways to get into the void state , like truly . i've recently incorporated the void state into my shifting routine at nighttime ( when i feel like it ) . which will be mentioned below && on how i enter the void state every time . but yes , the void state is definitely a good space to manifest . a lot of people say that the void state helps you manifest instantly , which makes sense because when your thoughts that go against your desires turn off , then you have nothing keeping you from your desires . but i also believe ( personally ) that negative thoughts , or anything , can't keep you from what you want , so the void state is kind of just a place for me to exist in peace at nighttime and wind down .

　　personal antidote : so my recent " method " if you will , to enter the void state is kind of simple and easy . at nighttime , when i'm already tired , i do some breath work . and then i count to 10 when i feel like i'm good with the breath work . i tell myself that by the time i reach 10 , my body will be asleep but my mind will be awake . and then i count and affirm body asleep mind awake after every number . and then i reach 10 . and even if i'm yawning or stuff by 10 , i ignore it and pretend i'm already asleep . and then i do the same except this time , when i hit 10 , i am in the void state . and even if i'm not , i manifest what i want my dream life to look like and somewhere in between i enter the void state . it's really a game of pretending .

　　if you : overthink easily , need a step by step method , have random thoughts , try this out !

　— wbtb . 　　wbtb , aka the wake back to bed method . i've heard many good things about this method , for starters !!! anyways , this method is where you wake up in 3 - 5 hours from when you fell asleep . there is a lot of science and facts behind this according to the sleep cycle a human being follow , such as the rem period and etc etc . the rem period is when you have the most vivid dreams throughout your cycle , so that's why you wake up during that period or something , and stay awake for 30 - ish minutes before you fall back asleep . when you fall back asleep , you either enter the void state , you lucid dream , or straight up enter your reality . this also works when you use the time in between when you're awake and very sleepy / tired to affirm that you are in your reality . that is also called the hypnogogia state . i'm going to go further in depth with that state somewhere below , as well as it's sister state . but right now , all you need to know is that state is when you are very very very tired to the point your brain can't shoot back factual / logical evidence that goes against your manifestations or whatever you're affirming for .

　　personal antidote : not much for this section , since whenever i do wake up at that hour , i wake up wake up . like i'm instantly aware of everything since it's light out , or i fall right back asleep without waiting since i'm too tired . . . i'll try tonight though !!! if i go to bed early . . . but there are sooo many shifting storytimes that use this method !!!

　　if you : overthink easily , don't have much patience , need factual evidence , fall asleep quickly , try this out !

　— hypnagogia / hypnopompic . 　　these two concepts are two different states of our consciousness . scientifically proven , as well ! so for the shifters out there who are logical and need factual evidence , this might be the thing for you !!! anyways , they're both bridges between falling asleep and waking up . during these periods of time , your brain isn't sending you thoughts that go against your desires because it's way too tired to function properly , if that makes sense ?? during both states , you can affirm to be in your reality / manifest whatever you like ! don't force it , it will come to you . just relax . for the people who get distracted easily with their thoughts and imagination , this is perfect ! you can think about whatever you want as your waiting for your body to fall asleep or enter that groggy feeling when you're so tired you want to sleep . when you become super tired , that's the time for you to strike with affirmations or whatnot .

　— lucid dreaming . 　　shifting can be accessed through lucid dreams , believe it or not . there's many ways , like portals or affirming , sometimes even falling backwards from what i've heard ?? if you aren't sure what lucid dreaming is , it's when you're sleeping and have a dream that's so realistic and you can control what you are doing . many antis say shifting is just lucid dreaming , which it's not but it can be accessed through the help of a lucid dream . there's many ways to induce a lucid dream , like the wbtb method mentioned above , doing reality checks , having a sleep journal , or etc etc . when you're lucid dreaming and become aware of it , you can affirm to wake up in your reality instead of the one you fell asleep in , aka shifting to your desired reality .

　　personal antidote : i lucid dreamt once in my life , and other than that i have had many vivid dreams . the one time i lucid dreamt , it was unintentional and happened out of nowhere . when i went to shift , i woke up in this reality , but it still is a win for me the fact that i lucid dreamt in the first place out of sheer willpower and desire . however , there are so many storytimes on tiktok where people shifted to different realities through lucid dreaming , so don't take my experience negatively since it can help you in the long run !

　— rolling over . 　　isn't it crazy how if you just roll over , it can also be a way to shift . when i say ' rolling over ' , i'm thinking of when people get too lazy and roll over to fall asleep . the amount of times i've seen people " give up " on trying for the night and just roll over , in which they realize they're not in the same bed anymore is actually insane . i think this helps many people since they're too tired and have placed intention . this could also be classified as shifting on command if you really think about it !

　— visualization . 　　of course , the number one thing that is mentioned and suggested to do in many methods . also my number one enemy because i can't visualize very well . . . like i can't even visualize my own face . . . anyways . visualization helps with seeing your desired reality . basically enables one of the five senses for you , which are something people search for when they shift . sight is one of them , of course , and visualization helps with sight because you're still seeing your desired reality , even if your eyes are closed .

　— proprioception . 　　i'm not going to be the best person to explain this right now because i just got introduced to it myself , and often look back at posts to see what it's about , but i'll try my best . proprioception is basically knowing where something is in your surroundings , it's like knowing where the bed is in the room you've been sleeping in for a year or where the door is in your bedroom . stuff like that is proprioception because you know where something is located . to use this in shifting , you just basically figure out where things are in the spot you're going to shift to / wake up in . like where the furniture is in your bedroom and stuff . you don't have to visualize it , just know it .

　lastly , i'd like to address that everything that i mentioned above are never required for you to shift . in my eyes , the only thing you need to shift is yourself . you don't have to remove your realities off of a pedestal , you don't have to do this , you don't have to do that . when you are shifting , you are simply becoming aware of a reality that you are in . once you are aware ( just thinking about it ) , you shifted . but then you might be like , venus why am i still in my cr then ??? after i become aware , i like to become the person i would be when i shift there . aka my dr self . i like to think thoughts that are like , what am i going to do tomorrow ? what am i going to wear tomorrow ? why am i so stressed about school ? etc etc . all you " need " to do is become .
