So I just watched the craft,
Somehow both exceeded and fell short of my expectations. First off, I did not expect to be genuinely scared by this movie. I came into this expecting a 90s teen girl-powery witch movie and A GOT A WHOLE ASS SPOOK. I mean, it's still VERY 90s teen girl-powery witch movie, but it got spooky (while still being appropriate for younger teens). It was a pretty bad representation of paganism, but I didn't really expect that. It felt weird how the film trys so hard to punish these girls for their actions. To me, these girls were perfectly justified in what they did (in the beginning atleast). Is making a racist bully go bald and killing a wifebeater so bad? Are they not aloud to fight back? This movie very much not perfect, but is iconic in it's potrayal of female rage and 90s teen horror movie status. Plus, the quotes are iconic.

So i just watched carrie,
Carrie is a baby and never did anything wrong. The school had it coming tbh. Anyways, i demand a alternate ending where carrie lives a long and happy life and marries me. Ok, but for real, that was a banging movie. My only complaint is how much it was catering towards the male gaze. The long and awkward shots of minors naked make this a bit creepy in the non-spooky way. The other shots are quite beautiful though. Theres something so pretty about women in nice dresses, covered in blood. All in all, good for her lol.
