Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.
"Maybe this is madness. Maybe that's what Hell is. You go mad. And all your demons come and get you just as fast as you can think them up." - Anne Rice - Memnoch the Devil

"That is one of the worst aspects of evil, that it always involves the death of possible good, always proceeds from the destruction of something that might have been so much better." - Anne Rice - Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis
I'm curious about the typewriter in the middle of the table, in front of an empty chair (Lestat's chair at the family table in mortal life?) That Lestat has placed himself at the head of the table, in his father's chair, but his body language is uncomfortable and even diminutive (arms not on the armrests but slack to his side, his back slouched) and that he is in the studio hallucinating mortal Gabriella looking aggressive - arms on the armrest, hands clenched, leaning forward. I'd guess he's facing the ways in which he's been like his father and casting his mother as the arbitrator of his own disdain (?). But who knows what ring of hell he's putting himself through here.
and maybe that’s the gift in all of this, that i’ve got all this love
- all this love, cat burns
