Disconsolate Cessation (17th album)

This album was originally recorded in 2024 but due to some circumstances it was shelved, but on January 16th 2026 it will finally be released on Vivarium Recordings

Secrets In Motion IV: The Ghost Writer (16th Album)

Recorded from October 1st - November 14th 2025

I started recording this album after I realized I left out a lot of the horror elements known in the Secrets In Motion series in SIM3, I got to work, inspired by horror movie/game soundtracks

Secrets In Motion III (15th Album)

Recorded between January - June 2025, this album went through many phases, shelved twice and eventually released through Vivarium Recordings

This album wasn't originally planned to be Secrets In Motion III, starting off with scrapped demos from early January 2025, it wasn't until I was midway through recording this album I decided to give it it's title, being the official third entry in my Secrets In Motion series

With another pre-recorded album in a state of silence, this was intended to be my 16th release with the idea that the untitled album would be released first, then this one would mark the start of a very long break, but things changed as time went on, this is the primary reason why this album doesn't have a lore compared to the second installment and contains less horror vibes

Secrets In Motion II (14th Album)

Going for a much darker and haunting vibe than my 13th album The Hunstrete Bow, this is a direct sequel to Secrets In Motion I, originally released as a solo album in 2021, SIM2 is also my longest album for overall playtime and the amount of tracks (15)

The Hunstrete Bow (13th Album)

On this release, I began using a new DAW together with a MIDI controller to make the recording process more fun and easier, it worked really well, and you can hear the result in the opening track "The Owl Upside Down"

This one focusses a lot on a my usual dark and dramatic theme, specially as you near the end of the album with each track sounding more foreboding and sinister

Daydream Police (12th Album)

On this album, I decided to be even more experimental by trying out some music box plugins.

The opening track remains a personal favourite, specially with my own mother, who smiles whenever she hears it

Despite the album title's similarity to an album by "Cheap Trick" who released "Dream Police" in 1979, it isn't actually a reference to it at all, in fact, I had no idea that album existed until I revealed my album title to my family and it was pointed out to me, so.. it's somewhat, an incredible coincidence in a way

Track 4 "A Sonnet for Wanderers" recently played on Radio Hannover (Grenzwellen)

Boundless Imaginations (11th Album)

6 months after I "called it a day" I released this one through Vivarium Recordings, there are some tracks on this album that have a more darker tone than others.

Two tracks on this album "Ephemeral Mirror (Shorter Edit)" & "Break New Ground (Shorter Edit)" we're lifted from an EP released shortly before this album, I just felt they fitted it so well, and I'm glad I did, with Ephemeral Mirror being played on Radio Hannover (Grenzwellen) not long later, which made me extremely happy

The track Hadron Collider is a reference to a streamer "Hadronna" who, along with some members of her community gave me a boost of confidence with music production, so, that title was more of a thank you!

The Communities of Succour (10th Album)

This album was an awkward one for me, this came from a huge spike in depression, and while recording it I decided to call it a day and make it my "final album".

I gave it to Vivarium Recordings, they released it and I never touched music again until months later when I realized that music was the only thing that was keeping me happy, because to me it was a distraction.

So despite the "this is my final album" being written all over it, it turns out... it wasn't!

I got some help from some friends with this one, with the opening track being a reference to a community called "The Ice Realm", The Greenhouse being named after another community "Greenhouse Gang" and the closing track title idea was given to me by the owner of that server, so, the album gained it's name for that reason

Notion Of A Somebody (9th Album)

Just like my 8th album, the cover art theme remains, but this album features two tracks half way in that we're cut from my 3rd Magenta Room album Centres Of Distraction, it seemed to fit this one very well, specially with it's dark and dramatic turn, with Centres Of Distraction being overly calming here and there

Incessant Mount (8th Album)

This album marked the beginning of a new chapter for Halogen Star, with a new recognisable cover art style with the border and title on the bottom left, which will be used from now on.

This album features some "field recordings" during my vacation before the time of recording.

The cover art is a photograph of the ceiling at St George's Hall in Liverpool, in the great hall.

Sweet Sickle Moon (7th Album)

This album is known to have the fewest tracks so far, but each track spans over 10 minutes, so you still get the same listening time than the others, except with this album, it's more of a "put it on in the background and read" album

This Nameless Undead (6th Album)

This album was a very fun one to record, after taking inspiration from music discovered on Spotify's "Discover Weekly" at the time of recording, this album gained a Halloween theme with the album title, the title itself was lifted from an ASMR video, where the person was portraying a Dark Souls character and the timestamp said "This Nameless Undead's True Calling"... I loved the name so I used it, unusual huh?

Castor and Pollux (5th Album)

Castor and Pollux was an interesting one, after I began my other ambient alias Magenta Room, I started to incorporate that theme into my Halogen Star project.

This is the first album using a cover art, album title and track list made entirely by myself

God's Channel (4th Album)

God's Channel was the 4th album to use a cover art made by Prismer, the last three albums, being given names by the label, helped me learn how to properly name tracks, but still, with my 4th album, I still didn't have a cover art theme that would be recognisable as "Halogen Star" until later on into my discography

Antimatter Mirror (3rd Album)

Like the last album (Elysian Ascension) the cover art, album title and track list we're made by the guys at Vivarium Recordings, namely the cover art which was made by Prismer

Elysian Ascension (2nd Album)

I had a lot of fun with this one, the album title and track listing went through various changes, in the end my friend Prismer (previously Maggie.wav) made the cover art for this album and the title and track list we're named by Vivarium Recordings

Never Ending (debut album)

This album was quickly picked up by Vivarium Recordings, until then I was completely solo, Vivarium has been my home ever since.

The cover art was tweaked by a friend, who added a pink border, when I released it solo, on my own bandcamp page, it had a completely different cover art altogether
