Incrementing Days Javascript

After lots of searching on the internet this seemed to be the best way I could find to add days to a date object in javascript.

nextweek.setTime(today.getTime() + 7 * 86400000 );

Border-Collapse Browser Compatibility

I was working on a project where I had to align the rows in two tables with each other. In theory it shouldn't be a big deal. Assign a height to the td cells and they should align with each other. I had it working great in firefox but when I checked it in Google Chrome the computed height for some rows (seemed completely random) was 1px larger than it was supposed to be. Since chrome did not apply this to all of the rows nothing lined up right.

After doing some search on the internet I figured out that the problem was border-collapse I had it set to collapsed.

table { border-collapse:collapse; }

So I changed it to 

table { border-spacing:0px; }

It fixed the problem in chrome and worked in Firefox. It was really difficult to find this solution so I figured I would post it.

A product is more than just a user interface. The brand and the company's reputation are important, as is the context in which the product will be used. Paper prototypes are often sufficiently realistic that they encourage test participants to extrapolate to real-world situations of use. Thus, they can uncover issues beyond the user interface.

Piwik is an awesome open source analytics tool that you can install on your site. Since it's installed on your server it's a great option for intranets because it doesn't require access to any other web service.

Drupal Filters

If you want to create a view in drupal 7 with filters and pagination make sure to create a page not a block. If you use a block and attach it to a page you will have to use ajax which prevents users from linking to a specific page or filter option or saving their position when using the back button.
