Atop it all, the esteemed, the brilliant, the unparalleled Dr. Wily was a genius surpassing them all in every facet of intellect. Did he build robots? Rather, he crafted them, forged from metals and alloys, from circuits and wires, he structured each one as a masterpiece of effort and a shining beacon of his accelerated mind!

Hal could practically feel the pretentious air of self importance radiating from the old man, causing him to just barely suppress an eyeroll. Oh boy. Not even Dirk compared to this.

“…I see. Well, you may call me Hal, if you wish. Wily, was it?”

The android quietly runs through all the information he has on Dr. Wily, wondering if allowing his curiosity to bring him introduce himself had been such a good idea.

“Dr.Wily,” he answered, emphasizing the title of his preference, all the while observing the android with utmost scrutiny. It had an unusual design, to say the least,  with none of the usual style that spoke of any other roboticist he’d heard of or encountered. Something new, then? Maybe something of use? The obvious questions of who or what had built Hal came and went, useless before the question of how Hal could be of use to the good doctor.

“The pleasure’s all yours.’

Hal knew good and well what the Doctor's intentions were, so he remained reasonably wary. He loathed the idea of anyone opening up and rearranging his insides aside from his dear mistress, so he kept his distance, hovering several feet in the air and peering down at the other.

"I'm sure it is. My apologies, Dr. Wily. I've had a look at your creations, they're all very interesting." Interesting, but not impressive, compared to himself.
