Carved Ivory Crucifixion Ring

Gold ring, the hoop expanding at the shoulders to support the oval bezel containing a carved ivory tableau of the Crucifixion, under a slab of glass. The shoulders, sides and back of the bezel are enamelled with black symmetrical ornament.
