“ you’re exactly right , ” she agrees , punctuating her sentence by flicking the ash off her cigarette. “ not that my job is that serious , i just gotta pour beers and try not spill too much. i also check the occasional id , ” she shrugs , “ but at this point i know most people who frequent the bar , who’s legal and who isn’t. ” she takes another drag , flicks off a bit of ash again. “ oh i’ve heard of it. i don’t know a lot about it , but i’ve heard of it. so how’d ya end up here ? ”
“There’s always something that can go wrong. I’m just a bouncer myself.” Which was a good use of his talents — hard to push your way past an Asgardian. It was easy to keep people from moving past him at least. “Small town makes it easy to know everyone who comes and goes, huh?” He says feeling like that was definitely a mood with this place. Paragon wasnt so bad when it comes to Midgardian places. “It’s a long story. I sort of died, which was a weird feeling, but I came back to life. Someone I care about was here when I returned to the living — which is why I’m now in Midgard.”
