“Hm, that is true. Thor has told me the stories.” Raynor could at least admit that, he was less of a disaster. Even at his worst, he never went that low. Growing up and being raised by Sigyn ensured that at the very least, he wouldn’t be as emotionally stunted as Loki. “Uncalled for, maybe. But even you have to see the truth in it.”
Raynor scoffed and shook his head. “I never said you were a terrible parent, you would be if you made me go to his small council meetings. Doesn’t win you many points, but at least you never did that. Ignoring that Alva’s ghost is here won’t make them go away, you know. They’re annoyed with us.” He knows Loki doesn’t like talking about Alva, he was usually good with not bringing them up. But he was so fed up, he would regret it once he calmed down.
❝ i wouldn’t go about listening to everything thor has to say. certainly not, actually. ❞ his brother sure did love to embarrass him, or, worse, try to make loki seem like an actual person when he would much rather not be accused of something so serious. he and sigyn got along too well. loki scoffed. ❝ i’ll take whether or not i see any truth in it to my grave. ❞
loki crossed his arms, stubborn to a fault. ❝ i understand it. i’m not a terrible parent, but i will never be as good a parent as sigyn. ❞ honestly, unlike most things, he cannot bring himself to be bitter about it. sigyn takes to parenting like a fish to water. she loves with a love stronger than love. ❝ i am not ignoring them. i cannot see them, raynor. and they spent all their time alive annoyed with us as well, so. ❞ not that alva was ever the most pleasant. they were too visceral to be easy and everyone, especially loki, loved them for it.
