Arc-V!Mark Story Time (& Rules)
Hi guys! Y’all wanted to hear about Arc-V!Mark’s background/backstory. I’ll get into how Mark is shoved into the story in a different post. However, just a few things.
This is my character; however, other characters he interacts with are not my own unless stated otherwise. Therefore, I have a few rules:
Arc-V!Mark is NOT shipped with anyone in the show. (I made him a platonic character. He is a self-insert.)
I do not mind if you ship him with people from the show as long as it is NOT fetish or NSFW.
However, I have ships I do NOT like: Yuya x Mark, Yuto x Mark, Yugo x Mark, Yuri x Mark, Zuzu(Yuzu) x Mark, Celina (Serena) x Mark, Lulu (Ruri) x Mark, Rin x Mark, Shay Obsidian (Shun Kurosaki) x Mark, Ray Akaba x Mark, Zarc x Mark, Kite Tenjo x Mark, ANY ADULT x Mark (He’s 14 - 16), NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 x Mark.
NO non-con, no incest, and no pedophilia.

Mark knew Yuya from when he was 4 to 8 years old. His parents were very good friends with the Sakais, and there was some romantic tension between the two sets of parents. However, at the age of 9, Mark and his family moved back to America because his parents had a better job opportunity to support Mark and the family. A year later, Yusho (Yuya’s Dad) went missing, and Mark’s parents were absolutely devastated. Being so deep in the depression that they blamed Mark, believing that if he didn’t exist, they would have been able to stay with the Sakais. Because they would not have had to move to America to better support themselves. Mark would then be treated horribly and become accustomed to the cruelty that his parents inflicted on him. There would be days that his parents would essentially coddle him, then flip back to not feeding him, throwing stuff at him, and beating him. At the age of 13, a social worker would pick up the case after receiving reports. The case would continue till Mark was 14; however, his parents would bribe the judge to not get charged. This would still result in Mark getting relocated. Mark’s other family member would decline or state that they weren’t ready to have a kid. Yoko (Yuya’s Mom) would speak up and offer to take in Mark instead, after hearing about the situation. With that, Mark would go back to Japan.
