Shoutout to these two, got into a misunderstanding that ended with the two tribe being banned for interacting with each other and then had a whole cutscene for their reconciliation and practically a decoration of love, they even celebrated valentines together. Happy Pride Month

Actually something I overlooked in Mono’s new bio is that her favorite story is “The Marriage of Figaro” now I know next to nothing about the play so I look up some information about it.

It is a play then adapted into an opera, it is a second story in a trilogy, about two engaged staff members (Figaro and Suzanne) of a Count, however the Count, who is bored of his wife, wants to abuse his power to take advantage of Suzanne and Figaro is in debt to housekeeper Marceline, who can void the marriage contract. The whole story sounds serious, but it’s actually a romcom and the whole thing is mostly played for laughs.

However I’m more interested in the info around the play. It was premiered in 1784 and the opera 1786, so we might have a year when the game takes place.

Also I’m not type to go “Cars 2 had popemobile for the pope car meaning the car pope had assassination attempt and also car Jesus” but Seville(Spain) is the location of the play and at the end of the play Figaro had a monologue where he mentions (and please correct me if I’m wrong) a bunch of other locations like Egypt and the Ottoman Empire and the play was written by a Frenchman, so theses places exist in this world. Plus the writer was Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais, and he have quite the life, especially when he help secure French support for the American Revolution and was their Arm Dealer. All of this is possibly cannon to the game, regular canons might be cannon to the game! Unless The Marriage of Figaro is different from the one in real life, the possibility of the Spanish inquisition exists as well as the Magic Plague and the Demon King Tyranny is mind boggling.
