i have yet to see anyone acknowledge the lawyer at all. let alone what happened to him. i feel vicariously traumatized. and im further traumatized by the lack of closure on my dash about it. that man got a straight shot of concentrated carolina reaper to the throat then scalding hot grease burned his face as he asphyxiated in the back of a fake ambulance, surrounded by evil idiots from his past. AND THEN HE GOT PUNISHED FOR IT. HELLO? DOES ANYBODY CARE? I THOUGHT WE LIKED THAT GUY.

CHARLIE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO READ 😭 the panel host asked about it and charlie day said something to the effect of “no, he went home and thought ‘hm, i think i want to huff some spray paint!’” so he forgot how. he also said that getting rid of that aspect of charlie’s character would be a bummer 😭

s17 e1 spoilers (not the whole plot of the show. just some parts that i thought were interesting)

rob was not joking about changing his name. all the credits said rob mac. charlie sings and plays piano! dennis is… surprisingly not very predatory to anybody at all? at least not in his usual way? the gang hates fall out boy. dee is dee-ing. they all hate the abbott cameras. dennis is a barista now (not really). it’s a good episode! it felt good! i missed seeing the gang doing stupid shit and i can’t wait for everyone to see it!

It's crazy to me that the "Random episode of Always Sunny" in question is literally The Gang Gets Romantic. Like people really do live different lives I guess bc what do you mean that episode didn't catastrophically alter your brain chemistry and change the very trajectory of your life, sending you on a years long spiral about Canon MacDennis and What It All Means. Crazy that you just watched it then went about your day unaffected and unfazed like GOD I wish that were me but instead I hear the words "Gay ass love story" and immediately crash out.
