36 years ago, "Spastik Children" played at the Ruthie's Inn at San Francisco.

Spastik Children was an alternate punk band in which members from metallica (James Hetfield, Cliff Burton and Kirk Hammett) would play every once in a while. Fred Cotton and Flunkey McDaniel were also members of this alternate project. It wasn't a serious project or anything so it was all just for fun. After Cliff's death, they performed with Jason Newsted.

That day, Metallica played an acoustic set with various other artists, Jerry Cantrell and Sean Kinney (Alice in Chains) amongst them. They played "The Four Horsemen" with Jerry Cantrell on guitar and "Tuesday's Gone" with Jerry on vocals and Sean Kinney on background vocals.
