honorless. so i taught my students plot diagrams today & all i could think about with the plot climax was sex when talking to my ten year olds about it š¬

Catelyn let him lead her, and managed not to flinch at the grasp on her hand, to not feel as if the fingers entwined were a trap, keeping her from getting away. She wanted to take relief in no longer having to worry that even the smallest things could be a way to catch her, to kill her, to hurt her family, but such things were easier said than done after so long living a life in constant hiding and danger. But she managed now to let hand-holding be nothing more than holding hands and to allow Ned to lead to whatever it was he wished to show her.Ā
She had not been expecting the room of unpacked boxes, nor the particular item he retrieved from one of them.Ā
āOur wedding album?ā Catelyn asked, surprised at the gesture as well as the fact that the album had survived everything. Perhaps it was a sign. She looked over the photos as Ned held it open; the sight of the guests, of the candid shots as well as those framed and posed by the photographer. Dressed all in white, flowers dotting a braided bun underneath a pearl-dotted veil, her bridal self looked young and apprehensive and hopeful. No scars of any kind.Ā
āAnd you looked as if the suit was trying to choke you,ā Catelyn observed wryly,Ā āBut handsome alsoā Her fingers hovered over the image of the two of them side-by-side.Ā āAnd neither of us had any idea we would have Robb so soonā¦.ā
Ned couldnāt help but smile when Catelyn sounded surprised at the mention of their albums. He wasnāt expecting such a reaction, in honesty, he expected a negative reaction. However, it was a heartwarming reaction and one he desperately wanted. There needed to be some reminder of their past selves and Ned could see it in her face now as she looked at the pictures, a smile spread across his face.
āI thought you wouldāve liked to see it. Itās collected a lot of dust...ā Not that Ned blamed Catelyn. After all it was a long time and they believed he was dead. He didnāt blame her for packing everything away and trying to move on. Sometimes, somethings were too painful.
āIt was trying to choke me, I hated that thing that night.ā But there were too many other positive memories to remember that day.Ā āYour dress... Iāve always loved that dress and the flowers in your hair.ā He remembered being shocked, happy, ecstatic, and overwhelmed with emotion in a matter of seconds.Ā āAnd weād start our lives together.ā Nedās fingers grazed over her hand.Ā
āThis is Hellās territory and I am beholden to no gods.ā (okay i should be in bed but wow this is Cersei's line right here)
āYou are merely human, no one on this planet is a god, let alone you.ā
honorless. my sister and i are looking at going to canada next summer. weāre looking at banff & hitting canadaās won.derland ( she works for cedar fair so we can get in for free and itās on her bucketlist ). any other places that, in your opinion, are better than banff?
āKiss my ass, you sanctimonious bastard.ā
āI donāt participate in the act of kissing anyoneās ass, let alone yours.ā
āDo I look like the kind of man who dies?ā
āNo, you look like the kind of man who lives.ā
LINES IāVE HEARD THAT ARE RAW AS HELL: A SENTENCE STARTER PACK
āI will face God and walk backwards into Hell.ā āPick a god and pray.ā āThen perish.ā āViolence for violence is the rule of beasts.ā āI have been through Hell and come out singing.ā āThere are no gods here.ā āKiss my ass, you sanctimonious bastard.ā āDo I look like the kind of man who dies?ā āDo you think God stays in heaven because he too lives in fear of what heās created here on earth?ā āMost monsters are a manifestation of our own fears and inability to accept different cultures we donāt understand.ā āYou can only learn from pain, the more pain the wiser you become.ā āGod, forgive me.ā āI am blighted being cursed with sight.ā āThis is the age of the expanding man.ā āGodās dead and soon we will be, too.ā āI thought there were no heroes left in this world.ā āTo become God is the loneliest achievement of them all.ā āYou kneel before my throne unaware that it was built on lies.ā āImpudent of you to assume I will meet a mortal end.ā āPeople who donāt fear death are the ones who crave it.ā āThis is Hellās territory and I am beholden to no gods.ā āBury me shallow, Iāll be back.ā āPerception is truth to those who perceive it as such.ā āTake this gift, for the gods surely wonāt.ā āWhen the weight of the world is on your shoulders, you learn.ā āIronic that someone whose purpose it is to restore life would wish death upon themself.ā āGod wishes he were me.ā āOne day, you will be face to face with whatever saw fit to let you exist in the universe, and you will have to justify the space youāve filled.ā āEverything that we know and love is reducible to the absurd amount of chemicals, and there is therefore no intrinsic value in this material universe.ā āHypocrite that you are, for you to trust the chemicals in your brain to tell you they are chemicals.ā āAll knowledge is ultimately based on that which we cannot prove.ā āWill you fight? Or will you perish like a dog?ā āYouāre a coward. You always were.ā āDeviation from the norm will be punished unless it is exploitable.ā
Remember when Ned Stark adopted John? :')
with a toast to the real mvp @handofhonor

āArya, you know better than to talk against the Queen.ā Ned sighed, rubbing his forehead. As much as he loved his daughter, there were many times when she brought a sort of frustration upon him that no one else did. No wonder his father was always tired.Ā āShe is our Queen, even if we do not agree with her, you must speak with respect. She has more power than any of us.ā
starkmatriarchā:
Catelyn stared at Ned as he seemed to see something beyond her, lost in his thoughts. There had been a time when she would so often know his thoughts no matter how much he kept them locked away, but nowā¦.it was so hit and miss, as if they were a radio which couldnāt find the right station. He was staring now and she couldnāt see what was in his head, what he was reallyĀ seeing.Ā
āSomething you wanted to show me?ā She repeated, a mild frown lining her brow, though she couldnāt deny the curiosity that had already blossomed inside her. Catelyn hesitated a moment before deciding to finish putting in her earrings, before she went over to Ned. Looking at him curiously, she asked āWhere are we walking?ā
āThis way.ā He nodded in the direction in which he had just come. Too much information at once would give away what he had found, what he wanted to show Catelyn so he stayed silent. He gently reached for her hand, intertwining their fingers, as if they were young lovers again. He missed those times, the simplicity of it, the desire in which everything was possible and nothing would harm them.
Ned led Catelyn towards a room no one really entered. It had boxes of things that had remained packed up. There were some things that Ned had wanted to find but he had stumbled upon something else entirely. Open the box, he pulled out a photo album.Ā āI found this while going through some things in here.ā It had brought back happy, longing memories that he desperately wanted to feel again.Ā āYou looked beautiful on our wedding day.ā
honorless. i am in a much better mindset than the other night. shoutout to @indigoraysoflightā for checking on me to make sure i was okay the next day

I know how you feel and I can relate so much. I feel the same way, like Iāll be forgotten or left behind because everyone I know is moving on and here I am stuck living with my mom, single and scared of being forgotten, left behind, and making others upset
honorless. thank you for sharing these feelings with me bc itās not easy sometimes and you know what friend, i think itās important that we both realize what these emotions are and where they are coming from. now that we have pinpoint them we can move forward with things and work on controlling our stresses and trying to work on bettering ourselves. i donāt think thereās anything wrong with living with your mom, i still live with my parents & iām 24, turning 25 in may. but i also think itās important to start that process, if youāre able, of moving out in your own. iām hoping that when i do move out, it will help
