honestly i've never been in that situation before, so i worry i don't have much to say.

i suppose what works for you will be based on why you originally dropped out in the first place. whatever you were struggling with, it's good to focus on how you plan to make the experience different this time.

everyone has friends that come and go, personally i have a couple core besties from back home that i still see when possible and keep in touch with regularly.

parting ways for school puts people all over the place though- so ofc living far away changes things. i'm living 4 hours away from where i went to undergrad now so life is just different- that's not a bad thing necessarily ! take advantage of new places and people- there's great friends all over :)
