anyone should be able to get an abortion for any reason. this includes the decision to have an abortion because you found out the fetus will have a disability that you don't feel equipped to handle. an individual making this choice for their own family can be, in disability circles, discussed in terms of larger trends and cultural attitudes and value of disabled lives, but at the end of the day, they should always be allowed to do this, no exceptions, and should only be judged for this decision if they said something ableist while explaining this decision. the individual choice of one family is not inherently an act of eugenics, and abortion for any reason should be allowed

with all that in mind, as someone who was born with severe birth defects, i don't like the way some of you bitches talk about us, our parents and our lives while making that correct argument!!!!!!
