The engeneed lightly nodded. “Thank you, Hank. I really appreciate it,” he gave him a little smile. “Tell Connor I said hi.”

He then told Chloe to go see Hank out before he lay himself dowm on the sofa, deeply sighing and closing his eyes, trying his best to focus on everything and anything but the pain, which was spilling through his entire body.

“Terry, everything is going to be fine, we’re gonna get rid of him,” he quietly said to the android, reaching forward to gently caress his hair.

Terry leaned into his touch and smiled a little at Kamski before taking his other hand and kissing it. He adored having a father like Kamski. He still was concerned though as he asked, 

“Would you like a heat bag? Water?”

Hank gently rubbed his thumb over the android’s hand with anxious worry. He then picked his head up hearing the sirens in the distance. He got up waved his arms to flag them down. It wasn’t necessary, but he felt he needed to let them know where they were. This was an emergency after all. He then glanced to the man repairing Connor,

“How’s he holding up?”

The man sighed and shook his head, “He needs to get to a repair center soon or he’ll shut down.” He told Hank. Face grim he added. “I’d say he only has half an hour max before shut down unless his blue blood is replenished.” The android had lost a lot of blood. Without Thirium it wouldn’t be long before Connor died and he was still losing it fast. “I’ve managed to stop some of the bleeding but without any tools there not much I can do here.”

Hank nodded and soon the ambulance pulled up to them. They brought a cyberlife truck with them since the man’s wife reported that there was a damaged android on the scene. The paramedics went to go check over Hank who growled, 

“I’m fine! It’s my friend who’s hurt!” 

The cyberlife mechanics was putting Connor on a stretcher and putting him inside the truck. Hank got up and pushed passed the paramedics,

“I want to ride with him.”

Hank nodded and gently caressed the side of his face before hurrying out of the bathroom to get some ice for his boy’s bath. Sumo sauntered into the bathroom to keep the boy company. He then gently licked the boy’s face affectionately. When Hank returned he dumped a bunch of ice in the tub and picked his boy up putting him in with his pajamas still on. He needed to bring the fever down and worry about getting him dry clothes after,

“There you go kiddo. Sit in there for a little.”

He then took his son’s hand and held it briefly before taking a cup from the side and filling it up with the cold water. He gently poured it over the boy’s head before pushing the boy’s wet hair back from his face,

“How’s that feel, sweetheart?”

The cold water felt nice against his feverish body. And the water poured over his head helped even more. It was soooo cool. Cole gave a small smile, he still felt sick but this helped.

“It feels good. Like I’m all cooled down.”

Hank smiled down at him and took his hand, before kissing the back of it. He then wet a rag and placed it over his head. He was glad Cole felt somewhat better even if it wasn’t 100%. He then went to the cabinet and got out some cold medicine he had. He poured a little in the cup that it came with before going back to Cole and offering it to him,

“Here, drink your medicine so you can get better kiddo. You wanna sleep with me tonight?”
