quickly whipped up these beauties today and yesterday, it’s a gift for a friend who had breast reduction surgery (like I did) and I’m really excited to give it to her!!

If you would like something similar (boobs or any other body part) I will welcome commissions for anyone who’s interested! and will only charge for the materials used and postage :)

Eh. It’s okay. I like the cross hatch backstitch at least.

Okay now that I finished this delicious pizza slice, I have a few opinions.

1) Oh my, four strand was such a mistake, not doing that again.

2) I snapped the eyes of not one but TWO needles on this project. I’m glad I bought more today.

3) This has way brighter colors than I imagined! It almost appears neon to me; I like it.

4) I learned during the course of this project that for most of the country, delivery pizza comes cut into triangles. As a girl who grew up just an hour south of Chicago, I am here to tell you that is not the right way. It should be cut up into squares unless it’s from a national chain (this apparently referred to as ‘tavern style’ and that’s how it comes in most restaurants too!).

my relationship with my body has been very rocky lately, but two things i’ve come to really love are my boobs and body hair. i used to hate my boobs - they brought me a lot of physical and emotional pain, but my surgical scars represent healing in so many ways. and i flipping love having body hair, i feel strange when i shave it now. i’ve learnt to forget what other people think of it and do what i enjoy best and i feel so content with it. so i made this lil piece of art to celebrate these things tonight 😄😄 hope it’s not too weird lol but i’m pretty proud of it i hope you like it too xxx
