The anon talking about fanbases is right. Since the beginning of the show the only songs that made the charts were the ones which featured Mino, just like last year with B.I and Bobby. It's because they're YG, not because they're the best.

You guys just think because they’re yg, they slay the charts. It never crosses your mind that maybe, just possibly the songs are worth topping the charts and thats why they slay??

I know even if Mino wasn’t in yg, his songs would still be slaying. He knows how to dominate a stage, has an amazing flow and good lyrics. I’m not saying this pre-debut yg or debuted yg, but found another company and is on smtm4 rn, his songs would be topping because they ARE good. He is good, he knows what he’s doing.

Just stop assuming because he’s yg, he tops charts, like yes, I get that fans supports mino, but it doesn’t mean thats the only reason why he’s topping charts. There are a loooot of other people that watch the show too, so you can’t just say its because of fans. You don’t know who is watching the show and who isn’t to say just because of fans’ support he tops.

I,personally, think the other songs have been eh compared to minos. It what you think personally, I guess. I doubt just only mino’s fans watch smtm and thats why he tops.

I just think it's obnoxious when fans of artists/groups from big companies get all high and mighty about winning throphies and topping charts, I'm not calling you put but talking in general.

Like, we all know as soon as BigBang, EXO, Super Junior, 2ne1, GG etc announce their comebacks they are going to sweep the charts and award shows, and that doesn't mean the songs they put out will consistently be "the best", but they'll still dominate less known or popular groups, and I say this as a fan of all the groups above mentioned.

Just like we already know iKon will top the charts as soon as they debut before we even know what their single is going to sound like. They have a big company backing them, the hype, the following and that is the recipe for most sales/views etc.

And those things don't necesarilly mean A+++ quality music.
